The Cavs would have won in 5Ain't trying to make excuses, but it was pretty evident the team gave up on Thibs last season and him not being able to make adjustments certainly didn't help come playoff time. We were inconsistent, and our offense was stagnant as fukk. A ticking time bomb ready to explode and it finally went off in the second round. The series was lost in Game 4 honestly when we could've gone up 3-1.
Gotta say I'm happy Thibs is gone and we got a coach with offensive creativity. Last season was one of the most frustrating seasons I have seen by the Bulls. Very uncharacteristic of a Thibs coached team.....no heart and hustle.

Well....... That brings me to the same question why did the damn Bulls lose??? If lebron played like shyt????![]()
Hey look, there's someone that failed to mention it took Bron 25 shots to score 26 points, while turning the ball over 4.5 times a game.![]()
Gasol was injured and missed a few games and my nikkaplayed like complete trash. Also, the Bulls had too many long scoring droughts in that series. shyt was infuriating to watch. That game 5 winner by LeChillMode was the deciding factor though. I knew the series was over when he hit that shyt.
The reasons are scattered all throughout the thread. @DRoseCantStop describes it best -Well....... That brings me to the same question why did the damn Bulls lose??? If lebron played like shyt????
=A ticking time bomb ready to explode and it finally went off in the second round.
Failing to realize that the Bulls had minimal production from the bench
Failing to realize that all the Cavs role players out-hustled, out-shot and out-performed the Bulls role players
Failing to realize that Noah was broken down and provided minimal offensive production
Failing to realize the Bulls had the advantage before Pau went down injured
Failing to realize the lack of team unity on offense and defense - in combination with the mental diaspora of Thibs/team
Failing to realize the Bulls effort-based identity was a mere footnote
Failing to realize Rose still wasn't playing consistently to his strengths
Failing to realize the Bulls poor 3-pt shooting
Failing to realize the passiveness of 90+% of the squad
Failing to realize that Niko shyt the bed
All this without mentioning the fact that Bron's inefficient command of his team's possessions actually KEPT the Bulls in games.
Not disagreein with your overall point but they were very confidentThe reasons are scattered all throughout the thread. @DRoseCantStop describes it best -

Bulls fans knew this shyt was gonna happen, they called it well before the series - hell they called it before the playoffs.

Not disagreein with your overall point but they were very confident
Let's not get revisionist history here now
Kyrie was hurtI swear nikkas got convenient amnesia

Kyrie was hurt
Love was out
Jr was suspended the first two games
And they wanna come in with the excuses
Not to mention their bench being better then ours was a huge talking point. And the versatility of niko![]()
