old navy was cheap as fukk you could get 2 pairs of jeans for 30 bucks.southpole was budget/bootleg status even when it came out breh. At least in l.a it was because it was sold and marketed for kids who couldn't afford fubu
remember enyce yalldidnt dude start the company with like 50 dollars, knittin hats or somethinNo because it was black owned and made over $300M a year at its peak.to black excellence.

had quite a few maurice malone joints...
you took the post out of my head.No it wasn't up until it started doing too much...
but we NEED more brands like this...we NEED to support our own. Instead of Versace, Versace, Versace we should be heralding some upscale BLACK designers name. We bash these brothas clothes, but they innovated. Instead of trying to bring back all this old designers stuff, some of these black celebrities need to help Fubu, Wu-Wear, and countless other BLACK designers come up or get their stuff out to the public...
I had a couple of FUBU outfits, I liked them cuz they were stylish and even popular back in the day. When I learned about FUBU itself, I made a conscious effort to support them brothas. Had some Fat Albert gear (just 2 shirts) also.
Wish we would stop hating on our own. These brothas should be praised for doing what they did...

Then why does Tyson Beckford model for Hilfiger then!??!"

Every brand ends up being corny at some point. I rocked my FUBU sweater loving life circa 96 though.
