Tell that to the posters who feel the need to defend Dre. Like I said in my first post Dre being a woman beater doesn't make all black men women beaters. Dre is not the representative of all black men. So I don't know why any black man would feel the need to defend him or get butt hurt about this movie based on true events. It happened and it was Dre's fault. No need to get offended because you're not Dre.

These nikkas defending Dre are part of the reason black men have been unfairly tagged as the face of domestic violence. Sure, the white media mostly controls the narrative, but no doubt they see sites like this one where dudes :cape:for fukkboys like Dre, Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, etc and make assumptions about all of us.

Nobody is butthurt, men are just tired of stupid hoes letting themselves get raped, beaten and shyt by a rich nikka...and then coming back 20 years later with a tell all.

Like we have stated...

If yall women are really about that life...yall would stop letting stupid women waste everybody's time with their silly hoe games and send nikkas to jail or whatever the fukk after they beat a bytch ass or a rape a bytch...

Instead...yall women love to play this bullshyt...like...

"Omg, they were so scared and afraid and just didn't know what to do..."

When these bytches just stick around cause a nikka is rich as fukk and cutting checks to a bytch...

But then when a man don't be all..."Poor little baby...you been victimized so much..."

Women wanna act like we condoning or defending a nikka...

No, we just know what the deal is. Ain't no point in bringing up old shyt and acting like you brave and shyt, when you let a famous rich nikka, whip ass and rape and pillage and shyt because he was cutting you a check. And now the checks ain't being cut, you wanna "tell the truth"...

Indeed.

The bottom line is, allegations of Dre beating up Miche'le have been around for a minute now. Miche'le spoke on this many times, so for this to catch up on him isn't too surprising.

On top of that, you have Dre beating up on Dee Barnes, which I haven't seen anyone deny it, Dre included. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

This is something Dre is going to have to deal it and ultimately be called out on. I just find it interesting that the media didn't go in on this topic when the SOC movie was coming out and that it took Miche'le doing this biopic for people to pay attention. Y'all should know why though.:mjpls:

NO
And defending Dre is only going to prove their point. Dre did wrong. Oprah and others can't spin it onto all black men if black men agree and voice that what Dre did was wrong and unacceptable. If Oprah says this is a problem in the hip hop community, don't get in your feelings about it, agree. She can't spin it if there's no black men defending Dre and black men are tweeting and agreeing that Dre is a woman beater and domestic violence is wrong. Keep the focus on Dre, he's the villain. Don't defend the villain and fall on the sword for him.
I dont think most of us is defending Dre tbh. I mean, you always have a few that defend people, regardless of how guilty, or how wrong they are, it is what it is.

But black men as a whole are not shouting up and down on social media talking all kinds of shyt towards Michelle.

Most of thecoli despises Dre, look at all the threads centered around this movie.

The reason why I am taking issue in it is because there is a clear-cut agenda that is bigger then Dre. Black people are the only group of people in the world who is judged as a collective based on the actions of one, not as a individual like it should be. You said that you dont know why bm should feel the need to defend Dre and his action. I do not condone wifebeating and I do not condone his actions (I dont know his or Michelle's story personally), HOWEVER, the entire approach to this shyt smells real funny to me. There are other ways of getting back at Dre.

And now Oprah is coming in and will use her wealth, power, and influence to villainize Dre instead of villainizing corrupt cops, coroners, DAs/prosecutors in this white supremacist society like a real and legitimate black media apparatus should be doing.

Ironically every single black person of power (aka money) is made to look like a

Rapist
Child abuser
No good drug dealer
Whore
druggie
Thief
or abuser.

:patrice:

From your bill to your micheals, (pick one) and especially men.

Not saying there isn't truth to these things but.....

Was Dre wrong absolutely

@Rainman does have a point about an agenda though

I bring it back to the OJ trial everyone was so upset about domestic violence Oprah and everyone who had a talk show did nothing but shows about domestic violence.

Here's the thing they all knew about OJ had an affection for putting hands on women. Did they black list him. No. Did they do all these specials even though there where police reports to back them up from litigation. No.

They did nothing until it was time for ratings and having the cause of the moment.

Like OJ,Dre has a documented history of this but they people talking bad about him didn't do shyt back then this is what makes it an agenda.

BEATS BY DRE and they still didn't do shyt

Here's something to ask yourself.
If SOC never came out would Michel'le made a movie regardless? :sas2:

No Michel'le and her squeaky ass voice wouldn't have done a fukking thing...

She would've stfu...or just be on Vlad TV for free...talking about the good old days where she used to get stomped out, but was still getting a check and respect from dusty ass hood bytches...

But when the White media and Black feminists started going on Straight Outta Compton...Minnie Mouse went and got that check

But noone is defending Dre's alleged actions with Michel'e. People are decrying the obvious hit job that Lifetime movie was. Because it was not about Michel'e. It was about Dre and how horrible of a person he was. Plus, the movie had glaring inaccuracies.

So, when a piece of media is intentionally inaccurate in verifiable historical events, it comes across as propagandish :yeshrug:

And even if Oprah just kept the focus on hip hop, black men should NOT cosign that. Because it's not hip hop....it's one man who is associated with hip hop. Only in fields dominated by black people does one person's actions paint the entire field.
