Yeah he was supposed to be on here. I’m not sure what happened with that. I also thought we might see Cormega and Alchemist

Regardless, I knew the Nas was too much to hope for, but this is a pretty dope little project

If anyone doesn’t know Santana Fox, she’s P’s daughter. Her verse on this album was a bit of a letdown. It’s not bad. Just cool. But usually I think she’s very dope.

Without getting into too much detail. P didn’t have his financial affairs in order at the time of his passing. His estate owes a (fairly significant) amount of money to some Mobb Deep and Prodigy trademark holders. The parties cannot come to a mutual agreement. P’s estate thinks the ‘you owe us’ people want too much, and they don’t want to budge from what I understand. Im pretty sure that the reason you can’t find much P solo material on streaming platforms is because his estate pulled what they have enough ownership of down in order to not pay people that don’t like for an amount they don’t think is fair.

Until it gets cleared up we won’t be getting any unreleased P music. Which is a lot, just like you said. There’s hundreds of songs. Hegelian Dialectic 2 and 3, a Mobb Deep album produced by Alchemist, a Prodigy album produced by Alchemist, and a lot more.

That’s sad to hear if your a fan like me


But on the brighter side P left us with a lot of material to keep us enjoying his music for years. Sometimes my brother will argue with me whose better P or Nas. I luv those debates

Yeah breh this has me hyped for that Meth album. Havoc killed the production on here. And if Banks follows through on that project half produced by Hav and half by Alc?



The game has been missing Havoc. I like this production because it doesn’t sound dated at all, and yet I can tell it’s Havoc. It doesn’t really sound like anything he’s done before, and yet it’s and it’s a great mix of vintage with a new twist.

It doesn’t seem like Hav has produced a lot lately but that needs to change.

Couldn’t agree more. Take this as a completely unverified rumor but I even heard P owed the IRS a nice chunk. I don’t know how that works once you pass. Like, if you owe money I don’t know if that falls on your family or if you’re just in the clear. I don’t know if the government is a factor here too is what I’m saying.

For what it’s worth, people like P’s daughter, Alchemist, and people like P’s engineer Joe; they’re all pretty adamant that this situation will get cleared up eventually and we will get unreleased P music at some point. We might just have to wait.


BTW I’m almost positive this is why songs like Crab Cakes feat. Prodigy dropped on streaming this year and immediately came down. I think Evidence had a joint with P he couldn’t use on Weather or Not. Like...there’s no P verses going anywhere until everything is straight, and that’s 100% why there’s no P verse on this Flee Lord project.

It'll be sooner than that. I could be wrong, but really do think it'll be less than 5 years, tops. Neither party is winning or accomplishing anything by doing nothing. Somebody will cave.

It's wild because this is the complete opposite of what we usually see. Whenever someone passes, we usually see posthumous songs and albums start flooding the market pretty fast.

I'll consider this Flee Lord a start though. P would fukk with this album.
