Even then, i'm not an Eminem fan just because of multi's. He's actually got some very well written songs and is underrated in that aspect especially for someone coming out of the "rippity rap" niche. It's one of the reasons why when people try and compare him to canibus or cats of his ilk they come off as uninformed to me.

it is because most rap fans today aren't knowledgeable about rap technqiues like what a multisyllable rhyme actually is.

if more people knew what it was the more people would like them but because most of these idiots don't know what it is they look down on the dudes who actually researched these techniques or rap and know what they are and look down on them as nerds in my opinion.

I bought 3 EM albums off the strength of his lyrical ability but I never listen to them because the content and beats are mostly ... Weak. He does have some good tracks but for the most part meh.

I expect cacs to get into it though.. It's really more for that audience then nikkas in the hood bumping it in their wheel or on the block.. Which I've never seen or heard
And I'm not in the hood anymore but the shyt is still lacking ..its like eating cotton candy. Tastes great but its just sugar..


The only people that could rival Em's ability to put words together might be NaS, KRS one, Biggie, PAC, Big Pun & Big L and he might be better than all of them

I think Ludacris is a great comparison because he's a great lyricist but most of his songs are geared towards females ...nikkas like him but he doesn't touch them the same way somebody like PAC would.

I'd put Busta Rhymes in that group too.. He puts shyt together but they're mostly party tracks which starts to make you appear one dimensional if those are your best songs

On the Flip side there's guys like Styles & Beans.. Great lyrically they talk about gutter shyt that nikkas can feel but their actual complete songs and albums ehhh...Not so much..
