So better to be a conservative and let them starve or have their cops kill them?

:what:

You jump straight to a strawman huh? And had the nerve to say that with a straight face like LAPD isn't known for terrorizing and murdering black people. Like homeless people are known for eating 4-course meals.

:what:

There is a reason they move to California over Florida which has similar weather.

There's also a reason why Californians have been moving east, particularly to the South. Which also has similar weather.

Why is mental illness worse in the US. It's a societal issue not a conservative vs liberal issue.

No shyt, sherlock. But we're talking about California. So it's fair, rational, and logical to critique the policies in that state. Especially when they have the means to heavily mitigate this.

So many smart dumb nikkas on this forum.

Every state has the means to mitigate it. Once again it's not a political issue. All states can raise taxes.

All police and sheriff departments terrorize black people, the reason LAPD and NYPD are well known is because they are big cities and have lots of news media.

Stop using California to peddle your agenda, cac.

Americans think of themselves as temporary poor soon to be millionaires and until we realize we are closer to the homeless than we think, shyt won't change.

But keep on juezling

Conservative states literally ship them here by the busload every year and have been ever since Reagan shuttered America's mental wards. The reason why homeless shelters, job programs, etc. don't make a major dent in the street homeless population is because many of them are people who are literally not capable of being in the job market. They need professional care and America stopped footing the bill for that 40 years ago, making a statement as lazy as "they only have these problems in liberal states" highlights how little you know about the issue.

Government should buy some land somewhere out the way to move them too and keep the city limits looking decent especially if they can't/won't build housing for them:hubie:
you gotta be kidding.

homeless people will always congregate in a downtown of a big city for the access, wether it's drugs, pan handling, 24 hr food spots with washrooms etc etc. putting them in the middle of nowhere would not work they are drawn to the city core. it's one stop shopping and the most access hence why homeless shelters and other reach out resources are there too.

we might not wanna see them but they are our societies collateral damage, you can't "hide" the problem

Quote where I made that statement.

Cuz clearly, you and that other poster can't have a rational conversation without being in your feelings that a blue state is getting criticized.

And you two are juelzing hard. Your arguments getting :francis: quick.

result of piss poor education and tons of immigrants coming to US and taking over jobs for cheap. LA is looking like India where you can see rich folks and lots of homeless people few blocks away from them.
These people need jobs, where can they get them? And many jobs are sent overseas for cheap labour.

Trump insulted LA with the homeless problem and did nothing about it as commander in chief.

I'm in north hollywood now and I'm pretty sure if this was anywhere else they would call it a suburb of the major city. Real LA and north hollywood is seperated by like a mountain and a 50 minute drive.
