I dont get this logic. U make it sound like when someone says "Player A gave player B" 50 we mean he scored all 50 on Player B. Its more of a general term. We know thats impossible, because Player B will sometimes be on the bench when Player A is on the court. Or because of defensive assignments will have to switch. But if youre seriously trying to insinuate that Player A didnt score the majority of his points on Player B youre delusional.
Since Stephs backup let Player X score 8 of his 44 I guess Stephs a good defender after all!

This is NOT a good thing and my mind is blown because Im fairly sure you typed it as if it is.
Harden CAN defend when he wants to. We saw it when he was on OKC with less responsibilities and we see it now in spurts. He is just lazy.
The saddest thing about Steph is that, like you said, he's out there actually TRYING on defense and still getting rolled.

This era has some of the most dynamic point guards of all time and they are gunning for the guy at the top of the hill.
They are a "historically great defensive team". They've just been wildly inconsistent this season.

You can't really criticize his D as they won a title already. See Wade/Kobe who never play D but media didn't say a word as they have rings. If the Warriors didn't win then yeah go in. Unfortunately for y'all they did win & he won't be criticized for a lack of defense
