Man its bad all around with hardenHarden is actually a passable 1on1 defender. The problem is his off ball/team defense being terrible. Getting consistently beat backdoor/leaving shooters wide open for three b/c you're caught ball watching or dying on a screen is a lot more detrimental to a defense than getting beat in isolation where if blown by the help D can cover for you.
Curry's a good team defender. Harden is one of the worst I've ever seen
Its so frustrating, hes a "smart" bad defender
.
They were a lot more consistent last season (which is partly down to every single team giving their best effort this season, drop off of the second unit, 4th quarter free-for-alls and pacing themselves). Even despite that, they're still #1= in defensive FG% and #1 in defensive 3-pt%. They're still basically the same squad - which is why I said they're a historically great defensive team - tying in from last season.

They're pretty much the only team to ever rank as the #1 defensive rated team while playing at the fastest pace in the league, certainly in the modern era.
More than Curry? OmgzHow many chips the all times omgz best NBA defender Lebron James haves omgz? Must be like at least 5

Yea he does. Something tells me that won't be the case in the next few months , tho. I'll be sure to up your reply, tho. Don't be mad , tho.More than Curry? Omgz![]()
Why is Superstar in quotations? Are we trying to suggest that Curry isn't a superstar?
He didn't allow those players to drop 40, I don't know what sense it makes to copy & paste an entire stat line with 0 context and hold one player responsible for it.
Difference between Curry and Harden is that the former isn't a zombie team defender and plays with high alertness. Effort isn't an issue with Curry defensively.

This is what makes it worse
Harden just gives zero fuccs. Steph trying his ass off and still getting culo blasted for 50![]()
