These boosters have unlimited gwap breh. You got billionaires and multi millionaires who it's a drop in the bucket for them.

Even LSU all you need is a bunch of millionaires to drop a pittance each

Not really, like some schools have a whale but most don’t, like with Arkansas, the Walton’s own an nfl team so it’s limited how they can donate, they sink most their money in the campus, like they built that med school up, same with Jerry
He gave up 50 points to samford, got blown out by South Carolina as a 20 point favorite, and if Vandy had Lea and Pavia he sure as hell would've gotten smoked by Vandy.

Dan went 13-10 in his last two seasons at Florida, 5-9 on his last 14 games (Kelly went 8-6 his last 14).

He stopped recruiting completely and did a half ass job with managing staff, apparently Kelly did fukk up with staffing too, and was an extremely unlikable dikkhead just like Brian Kelly.

Brian Kelly is LSU's Dan Mullen, but he had more success there.

I agree Kelly deserved to be fired too, for the same exact reason Mullen deserved to get fired from UF.
Lettuce not forget his rb coach ignored him and played who he wanted, and bytched him out infront of the team

Texas A & M is the equivalent of Saudi money in the world of college football. LSU and most of the SEC is dusty compared to the Texas schools.

And they still haven't won anything since they have been in the SEC

Money doesn't mean a thing to winning.
It's about the organization and preparation and talent.

I think these schools are not thinking things through, and money will be tighter than they think because you gotta clip the coach the polos, and coordinators. get the new coach and his polos, and coordinators, and maintain the current roster plus who the new coach wants

I think they will have enough bites at the apple, given access to talent, but if said coach doesn’t get it done, he’s getting clipped too

This is true, but the topic was about paying extreme buyouts to ax a guy and then hiring a new big name $10 million dollar a year replacement.

They said the children’s hospitals finna suffer in Louisiana to cover this

The mob i mean ochsner and our lady of the lake finna be in over drive :mjlol:
And people talking like this is chump change when it doesnt include roster retention, a new coach's contract and staff, and the portal.
Not at all, like i said folks will make moves but it don’t mean the financial bounce back is coming, crazy thing, what happens If the new mf lay a brick (which is more than likely true, you really just paying for a new way to be disappointed)

I agree. Thats why I asked if you thought LSU was going to go back to winning titles with every new coaching hire. I think in the post-NIL world, theres a likely scenario where they get stuck in a perpetual loop trying to recreate the 20 years prior to NIL.
