Worst contract in NBA history was Michael Jordan's first extension with the Bulls. He didn't get paid his worth until the second 3 peat. This dude will never be like Mike.

I confirm he is...
It IS a two year deal. The last 2 years aren't guaranteed.shouldve signed a two year deal.
that being said, he a millionaire. i aint mad at him
Wrong. G league players negotiate all the time. Plenty of players on the rockets were former G league players and they ended up going elsewhere when the rockets were trying to play them. RocCo and The Big man in Portland are good examples. He started the season in the G League.
Majority of people on this board wouldn’t have been able to pick him out of a lineup before the Houston series.
No one in his position is turning down that guaranteed money.
They're called Gupta specials (the guy who worked with Hinkie was also the guy who created the NBA Trade Machine. He's still handing deals like that out). Those are the contracts that can make a deal go through or not. They're like those NBA trade exemptions that teams always have but can never use.Sounds like a Hinkie special. When Sam discovered guys like Robert Covington he signed them to these 4 year minimum contracts in which we could cut them at literally anytime and totally void the salary
Hinkie the gawd![]()
He’s a ‘marksman’ from 3? Based on what? One game?Wrong. G league players negotiate all the time. Plenty of players on the rockets were former G league players and they ended up going elsewhere when the rockets were trying to play them. RocCo and The Big man in Portland are good examples.
Dort has been balling all year. Remember, OKC was ranked 5th in the WEST when most analysts thought they'd die off after the Westbrook trade.
You tryna play Dort and you looking dumb right now. Dude is an elite perimeter defender and a marksman at 3.
How does this even make sense??If i were him either fake an injury or half ass til ur last year...im not trying hard for the next 2 seasons making 1 mil a year after i was ur best player in game 7....
He's not even that good idk how this is supposedly a bad contract for him.. nikka lucky to even had the chance to be in the league. We should include him for picks since he somehow became massively overrated

He's got the same contract a late first round pick gets and he wasn't even drafted. He'll be 25 when he's a free agent. If he's that good he can still bank and if he flops he's already banked $22 million.
