They had to have traded him because they didnt want to pay him
This is actually basketball terrorism
He’s been X’d out of basically all basketball related decisions since he sold the teamOh this is some Illuminati shyt if Cuban didn't even know.
Exactly, Dallas is not being straight with the NBA world right now. I don't wanna hear about conditioning, defensive woes, and shyt; nobody in their right mind trades a 25-year-old Superstar who's just hitting his peak, not to mention surprisingly took you to the finals, for one first-round pick and a 32-year-old who, despite being a great player, has a questionable injury history who overall shortens their championship window, if not pretty much closes it, while lowering the ceiling moving forward.Something must have been brewing behind the scenes because this is the most perplexing trade of all time.
It's hard to believe Nico was the one behind this.
If he truly is, he'll be lucky to keep his job past this season if the Mavs don't at least make the WCF.
Luka was probably gonna leave next year to go Lakers anyway.Exactly, Dallas is not being straight with the NBA world right now. I don't hear about conditioning, defensive woes, and shyt; nobody in their right mind trades a 25-year-old Superstar who's just hitting his peak for one first-round pick and a 32-year-old who, despite being a great player, has an alarming injury history who overall shortens their championship window and arguably lowers the ceiling.
Something happened.
It's not lazy talk when it essentially boils down to that.
Luka has had perceived conditioning issues for years now, that hasn't stopped him becoming one of the best players of the modern era. The new ownership don't know Luka better than anyone else, and that's largely why they ended up trading him, because I imagine that they don't completely know the full extent of the value he has to the franchise (or they do and simply don't care because they wanna save money).
Luka's issues are down to his body being overworked because the muh'fukka doesn't have an offseason. He plays hoops all year round. His injuries are not some degenerative shyt like Kawhi's.
He's only 25.
If they truly believed he can't replicate what he's been doing going forward, they deserve all the shyt that's about to come their way.
