You don't have to be a free agent to leave anymore tho...sooooo :skip:

True, but superstar players don’t get traded after their rookie extension until years down the road. Luka’s supermax doesn’t kick in until after next season, so this discussion is meaningless as it’s not a conversation until 3-4 years down the road.

To be fair, everything leading up to the draft was the idea that Dallas didn't wanna add more young guys so they were kinda hoping Poku would fall so they could stash him.

Tyrell Terry at 31 given that he was projected to go as high as 14 was a no-brainer selection

The only rookies they've ever had that ever amounted into anything worth a damn in the last 10 years are Powell, Finney-Smith, Luka and Brunson.

took josh green when bey and maxey were available. sure couldve used them against the clips

TYRONE GA!
where exactly in that article did it say luka gave the mavs a timeline?

this story basically covered a member of the mavs front office, his role in the organization and speculation that luka and the mavs will have issues down the road, but you can say for that every star player and organization that fails to build a winning team.

Getting the clicks is the win.
