A lot of science is scientists correcting the mistakes of/disproving other science. It is actually encouraged to put research and theories up for scientific scrutiny repeatedly to see if it's disprovable. Science has been wrong just as much, probably more, than it's been accurate, I'm sure Lupe knows this
