He ran into Shaq in one of his Ferrari's and Shaq straight up told him no one ever tells you how much Ferrari's breakdown until you get one and see for yourself. I hear you too. I don’t like that shyt either. I can kind of digest it better when it seems the person’s coming from a perspective of genuinely caring about black people. With that said, I didn’t really hear Lupe just blaming Kanye or any black person rather I think he was pointing out that Kanye is contradicting himself and maybe being hypocritical about things. I also hear Lupe not exempting himself from what he’s critiquing—sounded like he’s done some wrong and is trying to make it right. All in all, I took it more as rant but in the spirit of having a convo with us—Kanye specifically, the rap community more broadly, and black people in general.
