Eh.
I can only talk about the watch part, as that’s where I’m more knowledgable but he’s completely wrong
The watches are purely mechanical. If you want a watch you never have to service then that’s fine and real watch collectors always have one of those beaters on deck. Mine is a quartz Casio Oceanus that you never have to set the time (Atomic and GPS time setting) and is solar powered.
On the other hand I have 3 Rolex, 1 Tissot, 1 Seiko. They are all mechanical and from Switzerland and Japan. They use mechanical movements which are more intricately designed and are a lot more fragile. They servicing requirements on them are every 5 years for normal usage, and simply need a bit of lubrication and cleaning.
If you’re fukking around with the watch and not treating it with basic care and attention, then just buy a digital one. I’ve seen watches from 30’s and 50’s that are still running to this day.
NORMAL people and horologist fans buy watches to last and wear for a life time. Rappers and people trying to roll like a rapper buy them to floss not knowing the features of a luxury item.
He was taking about Eastern European women.
I live in London and know exactly what he’s talking about.
