I feel like everyone knows a nikka like Royce, dudes who will take shyt too far and not understand how someone could be offended.

Lupe doesn't seem like the type of nikka you can call a bytch and think shyts sweet, Royce came into this battle thinking they were just proving who could rap, but this wasn't just some rap shyt to Lupe.

It was. Y'all acting like he really went over the line and talked about the man's wife or child. You call someone out to battle everything about you can be used as ammunition.

Exactly and I now FULLY understand why him and Joe Budden are so tight..they both seem like they test people until they find someone's breaking point and then when the person responds they try to psychoanalyze the person "Whoa, what's wrong with buddy?" and change the narrative

I literally was thinking this exact same thing. Remember round the time when Joe went crazy firing Mal off the podcast, Royce was saying he had a 2-3 hour conversation with Mal but was talking with Joe on an episode and shrugged off Joe's behavior as 'just be a bit more careful next time'

That was hella telling in my opinion. They enable each other's behavior and are each owns echo chamber. Some long term friendships are like that though

I think Lupe is more often than not incredibly corny. But I can't figure out for the life of me why Royce is talking like he's a top 15 rapper all time. I guess that slaughterhouse shyt really gassed him up. I'd much rather listen to a Saigon album in 2021 than a Royce album and if I want to hear tough talk with punchlines I'd rather listen to Ransom. Royce has always been an Eminem hanger on and the only time he had any juice is when he was dissing Em or was his patron.
