Lupe lacks something what is it?

I dont think Lupe has many weaknesses tbh. His ear for beats isn't the best and he can be overly complex for the sake of being complex but his first 2 albums are classics imo. Testu & Youth was a step in the right direction.

His rap voice is fine because its distinct enough to know its him and not anyone else.

I would love to see an album or ep with just Lupe, Nikki Jean and soundtrakk.

He's off Atlantic now, T&Y was his last album with them. It's all 1st & 15th now supposedly.

The Anonomyous hacker group forced their hand just to have his shyt released, so I'm not surprised by the lack of promo they gave his album.

P.s. Chopper/Deliver are back to back bangers

I think the era of Lupe hit records is far behind us now.

Even if he drops a record with hit potential without a machine to back him up it'll just fall to the wayside.

Either that or he has a distribution deal/partnership with another major platform to promote his shyt.
