Lupe vs K rino

I don't think it's necessarily fair TO compare Lupe to K-Rino, cause K-Rino is so vastly superior it isn't close. Maybe Lupe could be compared against a Blu or Fashawn and it would be closer?. Maybe a Joe Budden, trying to think. Not an artist with 36 albums who's superior to him in pretty much every way. At least someone with similar amounts of albums I guess. Trying to think who may be a good more reasonable comparison....

The thing IS someone mentioned about Wayne is cause they are so different it's hard to say. But I guess back in the day Wayne did have some dope shyt, I guess Lupe and Wayne are both so inconsistent it may be an interesting comparison....

Lupe only has two gold albums, so that logic is unreasonable.

But for the overall thread nobody really said dmx was better than lupe when it came to bars, just said he was more popular in his prime

I don't think it is in the context against K-Rino, is a very underground artist. That's what I mean, the same applies just on a smaller scale, many if not everybody in here who have voted for Lupe in here have admitted they haven't heard K-Rino's work, therefore it's pretty meaningless as a comparison. It's just voting off who you've heard and fame not of the quality.

I''m not sure, I don't think that's the case. I think some did mention reasons, infact I myself mentioned many MC reasons for prime level, but as I did mention if it was discography for instance I would have to think deeper.... X was probably a better MC to me though, a better rhythm, better more natural inflections, more energy, better voice, quite a few areas I would say I would give to X. And to be honest I'm not the biggest X fan, I like some of his music , same as I do with Lupe.

Because Lupe honestly has way better bars and wordplay than Weezy and crazier concepts on his mixtapes.

Ok, that's your opinion, but I don't think any of those artists are on K-Rino's level yet. Blu & Fashawn may have a chance as they are newish artists though...

Course said with pride, having 36 albums of work with many of them being HIGH level quality is something to be extremely proud of. He's made a legacy of music that will make him immortal and live forever in many's hearts and minds and in their memories that will make him be talked about by many in the GOAT discussions. Why would it be shameful to have a lot of dope/great songs and albums? It's something to be EXTREMELY proud of and what many of these artists should aspire too. Lupe doesn't even really have 1 album I consider great, probably 1 good album to me at 4 mics ish at best, K-Rino has numerous 4-5 mic albums, in double figures....

Also you can have your opinion about Lupe only having 1 good album, but since you love using cosigns of K rino so much, I can counter argue that Lupe's albums minus laser first two albums and Tetsup and youth have gotten the stamp of approval of way more artists.
