They absolutely buy luxurey stuff, just stuff you don't know about typrically. Definitly not stuff with the name and logo plastered everywhere. The Luxury brands have their real luxury line and their cheap luxury line, which they intentionally keep on the just obtainable level so idiots buy it. There is huge money for people trying to show off, but don't actually have money. Lots of people that have $5000 in clothes on but live at home or in a shytty apt. Dummies.

Rich people do wear designer clothes. They just don’t wear “loud” designer clothes. Also rich people wear expensive brands that most people don’t even know exist. NYC is filled with these type of stores
