Quavo and Thugga are two of the most skilled rappers out right now, and if you break down their verses in terms of syllables, number of internal rhymes, and how symmetrical their rhyme schemes are, they're actually just as complex as most of these wannabe intellectual rappers, they just use less opaque words.

I still like a lot of backpacker shyt tbh but only if it doesn't take itself too seriously, i.e. Run The Jewels and Cunninlynguists.
