the physics engine sucks. they could have bought the euphoria engine from backbreaker and made it work, this shyt kicks in too late and ends up causing way more stupid animations than the canned animations they used.

the models aren't nearly as polished as they should be. marshawn lynch looks like a generic version of himself. pretty sure they used the same character model for RG3 .

BUT... it's an improvement. the gameplay isn't too different as far as i noticed (i only played 6 quarters). of course, i haven't owned a madden game since madden 10, and have been on a loose boycott since madden 08. i'll probably rent it a couple times or buy it secondhand if i'm really itching to play franchise.

They see me trolling, they hating.....
The presentation is slightly different/better but that's about it

The replays are better also

Everything else looks and "feels" exactly like same....I don't really notice any "physics" change.....(but that's all just BS anyway, remember when Madden came out with that so called "liquid AI" bs a few years back?)

Which is not bad cause Madden 12 was straight imo, if I didn't already own that game I'd probably cop this one but since I do I'm gonna skip this. Theres some improvements but not enough to warrant another yearly cop unless you're a diehard football fan

I wish there was an actual halftime and postgame show that actually broke down the game play by play like in NFL 2K5.

It's been 8 years and 2k5 STILL has literally better overall presentation than every Madden game released since then......THIS IS AN UNDENIABLE FACT

If u haven't bought an NFL game in years then I recommend this. Its dope.

This demo is better than the full version of NCAA. And with that new Madden connected careers not being able to let u import draft classes, might just trade this shyt in

NCAA and nfl are totally different games, the playbills the weak teams etc.

Can't compare the two

I'm keeping my NCAA and I'll get madden

Played on All Pro, to many big plays as I won 35-14 against the Giants. Both Giant drives were one play drives, Bomb to Hicks(may have been my fault due to blitz), 60ish yard run from Bradshaw where my defense was just non existent. I had a 2 play drive capped of with a bomb to Moss, and 2 interception returns for TDs. I also had an encounter with a super LB where the ball should have been to high for him.

All in all, I haven't purchased since '10, so I will keep the preorder.

I definitely will be getting this madden after playing the demo like 20x but I can honestly say, the game still inst worth $65 :shaq2:

Pros
1. Physics - watching realistic tackles plus wacky looking animations will always be funny, (see GTA 4)
2. Passing - one of the best passing improvements ever
3. Defense - a sack feels like a sack and an interception feels like an interception
4. CBS broadcasting
5. Maybe its me but height seems to finally matter in this game
6. Not everyone can "big hit" no matter how hard you flick the analog stick

Cons
1. No Halftime Show
2. Crowd is utter shyt, looks like play-doh in the stands
3. Motion Blur - makes the game not too authentic, makes it feel like a video game
4. Field Goal kicking

Ima cop... I got NCAA last year instead of Madden and after a couple months..I traded it in. The demo is pretty cool...only thing is..I gotta play more to get use to making changes pre snap.

I agree...

The "physics" engine doesnt really kick in until the play is virtually over and your player is falling to the ground. Honestly I do like the fact that EA has decided to add one.

I wish they would have used the Frostbite engine from the Battlefield franchise..

I like the game though and I skipped last years Madden, but i think I will purchase this one.
