Madden NFL 13 Demo Arrives August 14th

This is true, but it's still wonky and unrealistic even for the most seasoned Madden player. Many madden players have begged for this change to a 2 click total control system that is in APF 2K8, its fast and end-user friendly. Check out this Vet Madden Player ask the Madden Devs to incorporate "total control def" into Madden.

i dont have a problem wit the one in right now and i move quick as fukk, alomst never out of time, but the one me showing official, i would loe that in madden, would be much simpler

The problem with maddens system, is you have to cycle to each player to edit his assignment, with the other system you pull the trigger and select an icon followed by the assignment and you're done or you can do it as a group.

Madden 13 will only be played on the Vita for me. I will wait on the infinity engine until they could get better with it, it just for collisions and nothing else. The zig zag running and the OL/DL is still bad to worrisome. They are getting better but I'm not on the console hype train. That being said the I'm all on the Vita hype train, EA put their foot in this one. It's Madden 12.5(console version) It very good, got cut scenes, lag on the menu's and some cut scenes. I'm loving the hot route system, with the right analog stick, I literally have Madden and not that sloppy IOS version of Madden. Can't wait for the retail version.

I'm leaning towards this as well, but I might cave and get the PS3 version too, not sure though

Being able to adjust hot routes with your finger and just drawing up a play is great.

I agree with the others saying it's a pain in the ass to adjust your defense before the snap. The computer snaps the ball before you get a chance to change anything.

Madden been having the same preplay controls for 3 years, learn how to use it and shut the fukk up, being backbreaker always has a bunch of clumsy ass anamations also, madden engine is a few steps behind theres, this is the first year, I knew it was gon be perfect

You need to remember, some of us coem from playing NCAA and the old Madden way where it was easy to make pre-snap adjustments without having to have multiple menus pop up on the screen.

In NCAA I can move my secondary, dline, and linebackers before the ball is snapped. Right now in Madden I barely can do one before the ball is snapped.

I suggest yall turn the game speed to slow, that shyt feels arcadey as fukk on default. I still see madden shyt that rubs me the wrong way. I honestly think it's impossible for 2k5 to be dethroned up to this point.

Pre-play calling is ridiculous. You have to click WAAAY too many fukkin buttons to make adjustments. Props to whoever posted the video last page about simplifying it. 2k5 *caugh* had this perfect. WTF EA.

I havent played and enjoyed a football game since 06 (when I still played 2k5). I havent owned a football game since. Sigh...

I'll keep checking on madden 13 to see what it looks like closer to release.

Madden 05 was great too. That was the last GREAT madden to me. The defense in that game was phenomenal. I'm just depressed because these EA fukks monopolized the game to make an average football experience for all these years. I miss playing and enjoying a football game.

whatever u ass nikka, I been playing madden and NCAA since last Gen and the Gen before that also, and I adated to this shyt, they changed it in madden 10 I think, and everybody was mad, but if that how they want they pre play shyt to look then so be it, the people that was mad about it then have learned the new one and can do it fast or faster than u can on NCAA, and madden pre play controls on D have more options then the NCAA one, u cant even tell a single CB to bump a single receiver on NCAA, u have to tell the entire secondary to come bump

And i agreed already that it would make it much easier if the 2k one was in madden, but if they dont it wouldn't make a difference to me, cause i can do super fast, its the exact same speed as NCAA, but instead of using the bumpers u use the d pad, how is that so hard, u just got to get out the habit of thinking about the NCAA presnaps and u will be fine, it took me one game to relearn it

Yep saw them, but from demo users says its not effective. You yelling its doing the wrong thing ect... or sometimes its not recognizing you at all.

lol @ defending the Madden pre-snap adjustment system. It's a freaking mess. I had no idea how to do anything. I'm sitting there pressing different buttons just to figure out how to audible to a damn hot route.
