Nice.
Head Coach had some interesting concepts for a football game. Drafting for sure. Back stories for each rookie, rather than randomly-generated characters. Makes franchises a bit more interesting long-term.
There are still little things that irritate me. Ball-carries having their momentum completely stopped when tackled from behind. Cornerbacks and Safeties running away from the receiver after a catch. Just weird little uhh idiosyncrasies that I notice during the demo and videos online. There have been some improvements though.

I may cop, but that's just because I haven't bought a new football game in 4 years. One thing I've always hated about Madden is how as soon as you take a little contact, you drop like you've been shot. Dudes in the NFL don't go down that easily. Also, Madden is still playing catch up to NFL 2k5 in the presentation department. The replays on this game look retarded, and the commentary is bland as fukk.

Idk but some of those portraits are from last years franchise. I remember that fat dude with black facial hair when they assisgned that pic as andrew luck

seems to me the obvious way EA could've solved the difficulty of hot routes etc is by slowing down the pre snap phase of the game
don't allow the offense to run to the ball EVERY down, and on downs that they are able to, DISABLE the ability to hot route (thats how its done in real life)
this way its a check and balance
and why don't we have the ability to add automatic shifts LIKE REAL DEFENSES DO??? I mean hello, why aren't we shifting to the strong side automatically yet??? Drop the safety or move the lb on the twins side??? Simple fukkn football strategy gets thrown in the bushes

How rpgish is the connected careers? Like if im a random cat and some freak injury happens would his career be over early? Or is it all on one A to Z type thing?
Also im thinking about buying madden through the psn store this year? Any way that drops earlier than the 28th or is it gonna be on there that day?

i wuz kinda getting into it again
i used to play tha old maddens when they came out ('92, '93, '95 etc) i also used to play like madden 05 for a lil bit when it came out
but then they kept making tha same shyt over and over plus i wuz thrug with video games
now i had a somewut rekindled interest, but i just saw a video somebody posted on this page, it wuz a player tackling another player and that shyt looked hella bootsy
nikkaz hands didn't even touch tha other player (no 
) his hands were like 2 inches from tha player and he started going down like he got hit, shyt got that same cheap ass graphics polygon engine, where up close it look hella fake and robotic, i'm str8
last time i played wuz 05 and now i check back 7 years later and these nikkaz still got tha same cheap ass unrealistic tackles?
