Bruh by the end of Fisher's tenure Lebatard was straight up calling him a buffoon during his radio broadcasts, he was making the same jokes that we have on the coli about Fisher looking the part with his mustache. I don't really get Lebatard acting like Magic doesn't have a lengthy history of business success to offset his post playing career failures, but one thing you can't call Lebatard out on is shytting on white coaches and execs.

Magic got hired because he is magic. Lakers always hire within Lakers family most of the time. There was no other person who would have fit that role more than magic. He has a presence and can bring players to their franchise. He is also a smart man, he doesn't have experience but can learn quickly. He is the perfect hire.



Dan is not a racist, he calls out other ppl all the time. Phil Jackson for example, gets made fun of every day on his show.

lakers hired a former minority owner and arguably its greatest player in its rich franchise history to run a basketball business operation. soon as he moved in w/ the dodgers, they became better & more profitable. now, on to basketball, how is one of its best players and one of the most successful businessmen in its native city unqualified to run a basketball business operation.

Le Batard actually had some valid points, the problem was in how dismissive he was in talking about Magic.

Dude really made it seem like all of Magics success in life could be chalked up to his fame and personality.

I've got my concerned about Magic as head of Basketball operations, but dude is the greatest PG to ever play in the NBA. Magic is widely considered The greatest leader in NBA history and one of the greatest leaders in ALL of sports. He's arguably been more successful in his post playing career than during his playing career.

Yeah, Magic is a terribly analysts, bombed as a talk show host, and was a terrible coach, but to act as if those failures are the only thing to Magic is fukked up.

He's right but my only problem is when you yourself have benefitted from the same thing maybe you shouldn't be talking on it. That's how I look at it.
