Why Dan never questioned Jeff Fisher having 16 losing seasons out of 23 yet still kept getting contract extensions?

Oh I get it cacs like him cool with blacks in positions that has no decision making or Authority..

Magic as the GM or Team president they can't stand for it.. they was already hotter than fish grease he was one of the owners in the LA dodogers deal
fukk are you talking about he went off on the 49ers hiring lynch like two weeks ago. he has always said he doesn't understand why the rams kept him when black coaches aren't given that benefit and that the only reason he's around is because the son's dad is connected to fisher.

you are a fukking idiot for straight up lying :oldmelo:

this nikka has also explained why there needs to be more black NFL coordinators if there is going to be more black head coaches but he doesn't want black people in power :beli:

Dan questions Jeff fisher all the time.
Which is why I don't understand where this is coming.

Bingo, magic is successful af in L.A.

Man put the first Starbucks in Compton :sas2:

Dan exposed himself here big time.

As he never in his sound bite ever talked about magic as a successful entrepreneur.
Which is why I am looking critically at dan, cause this is like when you start feeling like the white guy in the underground rap world is bogus and with dan I never thought I would have to watch for it but after this it seems I do.
Even in his gateway to comeback from this being featured.
dan never talked about magic's business interest and I find huge fault in that.

I listen to Dan Le Batard's show and nothing he said about Magic came off as racist at all. In fact, both my dad and I (we listen to his show on our drive in to work) agreed with the premise of what he said. As other have said he's gone a lot harder at Phil Jackson & John Lynch.

I watch for coded language all the time but nothing he said here was incorrect or racially motivated.

But what does any of the shyt Lebatard mention have to do with Magic's ability to run a basketball team?

He failed as a TV show host? The fukk does that have to do with anything? :dahell:

He failed as a coach one time? OK, so did countless other white coaches, GM's, executives who eventually got hired again and maybe had success the second time around.

Lebatard acting like Magic's "charm" (low key referring to some shucking and jiving shyt) is the only reason he got this job, and not the fact that he's the greatest PG ever, either best or second best player in franchise history, and most successful athlete turned businessman ever, is most def some thinly veiled racism.

It's a lot of dudes out there in coaching/GM spots with A LOT less credentials for their spot than Magic has for his.

Here we go trying to pull the race card. :russell:

If Dan said all this without facts or even with Magic having success in past ventures , then I would agree with you.

Steve Kerr got similar heat before he got the coaching job with the Warriors .

And I've been criticising my Niners hiring John Lynch for having no experience at all yet he sound like a "good guy" .

Spare me the unnecessary militant backlash.

Until he can prove me wrong, I'm sticking to my point.

By this same logic, did Magic charm his way into becoming a billionaire the same way he charmed himself into a HC position and talk show host?:stopitslime:

This is why I have a hard time buying lebatard's stance in this.
White privilege lets him look over the good of magic.
All cause if he was so called down,...this rant would never have been made because magic's business acumen after failing originally in the Lakers and in entertainment outside of the analyst position qualify magic for any position in corporate America period.
As white people easily take success in business somewhere else and it is brought up.
Yet magic has success in business after his initial admin failures in la and it is never brought up.
Even wit matt millen when he was hired his recent track record was brought up.
Why with the so called down journalist is this not brought up.

Dan just had his white privilege moment and got caught out there cause the premise of his rant and whom he portrays do not match.
Like real talk,....white privilege enables white people to look over your accomplishments as a minority and never give you the same benefit of the doubt .
Even when you do not need the benefit of the doubt. You still won't get the benefit of the doubt from white people.
Lebatard really lost a supporter over this.

Not to mention, I maybe a msu guy but not fanatical.
Yet, this has nuffin to msu.
This has to deal with the fact a successful icon as a black man was not given his real just due by the so called down journalist.

Lebatard just became an undercover uberverse style skip bayless and mariotti to me.

I am totally dissapppointed.

Maybe papi treating him like a fat dumb ass is warranted.

Kerr's hiring never fit into a real substantiated narrative either.
As Kerr was an exec already.
Kerr pretty much was part time ainge as an exec.
While also being better than ainge if we judge the timeline after hire as well.
So, the Kerr critique was never from a real sound place like the critique of magic.

I just don't understand why dan would do this for click bait.
When facts recently dispute anything he could say about magic.

Fake outrage. Keyshawn is an idiot and couldn't grasp what Dan was saying without resorting to using the race card because it's the easiest arugment. Anyone that listens to Dan knows good and damn well he's the furthest thing from a racist.

Dan has criticized the hiring of white execs and coaches too. Media and Keyshawn cherry picked Dan's comments on Magic and labeled it racist or having racist undertones. It's incredibly unfair to a person who's the white Cuban version of a Bomani Jones or Michael Smith.

Isn't this Dan's point though? His twitter account is probably the worst resume for "NBA front office job" ever created.

This was about attaching Magic to the brand and not only using him as a spokesperson but also seeing if his greatness in unrelated areas will translate. Does anyone really know if he has the ability to make decisions to make the basketball team win more games? He's untested in that. But he's Magic so he's getting a chance.
