North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Bruh, happened to me in a work bathroom at 6:30 in the morning one day. If I didnt get my A+ months ahead of time and leave a few weeks later, I dont know where my head would be at. There comes a time where a bullshyt job breaks you down. It doesnt even have to be a particular event…when that “I dont want to go back” feeling hits, it becomes really hard to settle back down.

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
Which branch. Because if it’s Marines …. :dahell: phase three is the home stretch.

Phase 1 and 2 are the worst.
Breh, Phase 3 was the absolute WORST! Caught a yeast infection and they wouldn't let me go on sick-call for 3 days.....in the middle of the summer.

You ever tried running 3 miles/low crawling 100 yds. while it feels like your d1ck is wrapped in sandpaper?

That was just the first three days!!!

I need more context for this video. I do give him some empathy because it’s a serious problem first world people face now. Yet at the same time I also don’t know how this brother lives. What’s he really spending on? What are his bills really like? How did he really end up at this point? We had a video posted like a week back of a dude who worked at this fast food joint for like 27 years and……..he seemed pretty content. That’s an extreme duality between these two guys so, I wish him the best.

I don't think it's about spending.

When I got out of HS and was working full time while going to school as I was getting closer to graduating and doing or even knowing what I wanted to do, go back into that bytch everyday had me fukked up. Everything else was fine, bills, rent, car....Had no issues or debt or struggle, it was going into that job. Just felt like shyt going in there, doing it and leaving. Was nice with my co-workers a couple of them I still kick it with til this day and this was like 12 years ago. Didn't want to plant my feet there and move forward or move up.

Luckily I finished school and got the fukk out of there.

I wish we had 8 hr shifts :picard:

10+ hrs non stop moving with no ac :picard:
LOL True, used to 12 hours, and they strategically placed AC vents where you could really only use them if you worked fast.

I remember coming from outside where it's 85-90F, and expecting that cool breeze you get when entering a building, only to hit an instant 100F. :mjcry:

Brother needs to man up and take care of his business.

If you want better, do better. That's it. Tired of seeing grown folk crying and complaining about things they have control over.
People say this until breh’s man themselves up to an early grave due to stress. Yes he should be working on his situation but he is human and has emotional needs.

One of the blessings of Covid is people started valuing their lives and freetime. People stopped thinking of themselves as some widget at Company A trained to generate profits for shareholders.

Now people need direction to start taking action to improve the situation for the working class instead of crying in separate corners.

Breh working in the warehouse is no joke. 8 hour shifts standing up, and you only get a 30 minute break for the entire shift.
When I was doing it I had a 6 hour graveyard shift with a 15 minute break. Depending on where you are in the warehouse when your break hits, you could spend 5 of those minutes just leaving the fukking floor. Those jobs are ridiculous. But like someone else said, it's the people that make them miserable. Your coworkers turn what could be a couple hours of sweating into something you're dreading.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I’m saying, this shyt is heartbreaking, and it’s millions of folks out here living like this, on the edge of their seats, pay check to pay check, zero quality of life, working to live, the working poor. You should not have to suffer for the rest of your life just to maintain a spot to rest your head and eat. They have taken everything, there is no such thing as affordable housing, whole entire generations of folks will never know home ownership. How are people supposed to build a foundation for their family while they are living in quicksand. This country need to rise up and fukking hold these people accountable once and for all.
