Breh, comcast is on my ass for downloading so much. First I got a VPN, and that worked for a few months. Then they got wise to that, and turned my download speed to 100 kbps when my VPN was on. Then, I used to change my mac address and get back to normal speeds, but then they found away around that (I don't know how...it worked great for like 6 months ). Then I got a new wifi connector, which worked for a few months, but then they got wise to that. I don't know what to do now. They stopped all my workarounds. Plus, of course when I call them, they're like "no, we're not throttling you." I'm like on my phone wifi I can pull 40 down, but on my computer you limit me to 800kps. They're like "well, it must be your computer." I'm like "no, it worked perfectly find before, then you started throttling it." They're like "we don't throttle." I then am like , which gets me nowhere.

Luckily, I'm looking to move to a new place soon. I hope they have Verizon FIOS

At least 4 gb a day. I download all my TV, music, and games. They don't like it one bit. I'm a digital only PC gamer, who buys a lot of games (I have over 1100 steam games). They hate that I download so much and got on my ass for it. Try to cut cable, and go all digital, brehs

Once upon a time, this company by the name of Microsoft tried to create a system that would eleviate all of these issues and more.
You being a blind fanboy cried foul, said they wanted to look into your living rooms (like if they couldn't do that via your phone/PC/etc) and they wanted to control all your games Yeah, they wanted to control it so you can use them forever (hello backwords compatibility )

Fast forward to now, half of us ONLY DOWNLOAD GAMES while the other half still has disc and HATES IT
Reality is this.. unless you selling your games within weeks, there is no resell value for your games. You can sometimes do a big 3 game trade in for one title.. and you'll feel like you got GOT.. cuz you did.

I think the cloud could've become a standard before this generation, but the consumer was too willing to stick to old traditions, ergo it didn't happen.

I also agree that those things that Sony added to the controller, really don't help at all. the controller still isn't comparable to an Xbox's, the speaker is pretty much always annoying, and the light could've been done a lot better.

at least they know what to make better with the future PlayStation updates

Games digitally drop in price all the time. On xbox, if they ain't give it to you for free? You can get deals all day long. Go look right now, every week they have games on sale on XB1. My library is already too damn long. I got a 4tb hdd, half of it is used. Mostly digital downloads.

On xbox, they wanted you to not have to worry about all of that. They wanted to make a system of ultimate convenience, and fans of sony lied to anyone who would listen saying basically frog shyt to make people think the awesome future was gonna be ruled by Hitler. Just so happens that gamers would not have stood for the shyt sony gamers lied about. Then they had the audacity to act like they stopped the lie from happeneing. If games were $20 I'd cop everything digital and not trip. The only reason I get physical games is because I'm part of that best buy program. But I end up getting games a month later for half price these days so I don't use the discount as often as I would like.

As for the needing a disc to download? Not for a digital title bruh. And I don't know what kind of internet you have, but a game takes a few minutes for me to play. about 10min for the full game to finish

ok first off... i sell all my games on ebay... when you list your item, they tell you the avg rate of what you're selling is BEING BOUGHT for... people on ebay are not the brightest, i hate to say... most the shyt i see on ebay being sold, is offered brand new for less, and yet people still buy it off ebay used.. it only takes 1 fool to make a sell... i've only been doing this since it was half.com

my point is, there is absolutely NO reason that a digital game brand new, should cost the exact same as a game that has to be burned onto a disc, with a disc label in color, with a case, with inserts in the case, with a cover on front and back, with shipping that disc to a store for product display, with another upcharge so the store can make money too



digital games should be $10 less day 1, at the LEAST... and until that is going on, nobody is going to see any benefits, when you have to install the entire game either way

My cousin who got a Ps4 last year did it with little to no fuss. He opened it up, pulled out the current drive, swapped in the one he bought. Downloaded the ps4 OS on a flash, plugged it in, installed it on the hard drive and was good to go.

I was in and out when he was doing it buy he said its easy enough. Check a few youtube vids on it. Doesn't look like anything super technical and the fact that Sony has the operating system on their website if I'm not mistaken sorta gives your the notion that they made concessions for brehs who wanted to swap out hard drives which is cool in my opinion.

I've never gotten throttled by Comcast and I regularly use torrents. And I never use vpn outside of for work purposes. But that's not even for downloading.

I got off that DIY wave with shyt I couldn't easily replace when I opened up my launch day ps2 to fix some shyt and ended up tearing that thin cable that runs from the motherboard to the power unit shyt. shyt popped like a noodle and fukked me out of my main console and it wasn't like I could just pop into a store and buy a replacement being in the Caribbean and all.

I plan on doing this the minute I cop a ps4, with a compatible 2-4 TB drive, shyt looks mad easy once you follow the instructions. I think the only problem you should generally have is if you try and use a Hard Drive that's not compatible with the ps4 or one that's just shoddy all around, but alot of PS4 brehs on here gave good examples of proper ones, so that shouldn't be a problem either.
