Tim Duncan retired and the Spurs didn't lose a beat. Kawhi stepped the fukk up, and people are starting to notice. :wow:

This is what Alvin Gentry said about him:
“You don’t want to say Michael Jordan,” New Orleans coach Alvin Gentry said, “but it is that type of situation where you have a really, really good offensive player and a tremendous defensive player.

“He definitely has to be heavily in the conversation for MVP.”

He can do everything on offense and defense. :whoo:

Kawhi deserves it. He's only 2 games back of the Warriors and he has no other real superstar on the team. LA is washed up, he's still good no doubt but definitely no longer superstar status and the rest of the team is nothing more but quality role players.
