He intentionally didn’t eat the vanilla icing in the cake because he wanted her to know how he felt but he wasn’t man enough to just say it upfront. He did it on purpose just so he could do exactly what he did, in a passive aggressive manner.

Should she have just made a chocolate cake, sure. But his response was definitely bytch made. There’s also a chance that he didn’t make it as clear as he’s making it out to be. As a man who doesn’t have a lot of preferences, I’m the king of “It doesn’t matter” or “Do whatever you want.” This dude might have been like “I don’t care, a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, it’s not that serious.” Then she just decided to do some extra shyt because that’s what women do. Waste energy on bs brehs…

:yeshrug: I honestly get his frustration. This kind of thing irritates me, too.

If the man tells you exactly what he wants for his birthday cake, all you need to do is give him what he asked for.

My husband was very specific this year about the kind of cake he wanted for his birthday. I looked up a recipe and made it from scratch for him. It looked beautiful...

He tasted one piece and said it didn't taste beautiful though lol, so I threw the whole thing in the trash and just went and bought him a one from the bakery. It was his birthday...what do I look like getting mad that he didn't like the cake I made for him if it wasn't what he wanted?
My wife is the same way lol

I'll do ANYTHING for her because of it (and a plethora of other reasons)
