Read reality's post again and tell me it doesn't read like he's giving chris nolan 100% creative credit for basically speaking to WB when that should be goyer and the other nolan he should be thanking. And u can't use the term "his baby" when he's just a producer with 0 creative input. Is boardwalk empire mark wahlberg's baby? :mjpls:

well according to the writing credits it was BOTH goyer and nolan that came up with the story. my assumption is goyer came up with the blueprint structual part of the story and nolan filled up the nuances for goyer in which goyer wrote the screenplay.

but it is INDEED nolan's "baby"... he is half responsible for the story AND as PRODUCER he is the one that oversees the project and provide the vision. snyder is the one that interprets whut nolan envisioned.

Christopher nolan did not have any vision for snyder to implement because as already stated it was goyer's script.I am sure one of the caveats for getting the movie made was putting nolan's name in the credit..

ps a producer knows what vision they are getting when they chose their director.I dont doubt that snyder picked his brain but lets not act like chris nolan did things he didnt.

goyer wrote the screenplay, but it was BOTH goyer's AND NOLAN's story. check the writing credits. both of them collaborated on the story itself.

So I'm guessing that we're not going to see Clark working at the Daily Planet in this flick, right?

Nolan's "realism" contribution will probably drag this film down. People want to see Superman get busy...not some "woe is me" drama snooze-fest which sadly this trailer hints at (i hope i'm wrong)

like i said before i think a large bulk of the screenplay is goyer's,.But in order to get the movie greenlit nolan's name found its way to the credits.Once you see the movie (if u are dissatisfied with the mythos and lack of grounded-ness in reality)) am sure you will summarize the same

WTF? Another planet at a war, a man flying over the globe, dodging missiles and guns, him flying and knocking sense into zod is what you call realism? Are we watching the same trailer?

Apparently not, because what I also saw was a minute and a half of drama of him "finding himself" before emerging as SM...which will probably take up half the film if Nolan has his way. I'm saying give us more action and save that bullshyt drama.

So Im assuming Crowe is gonna get a shyt ton of screentime? Movie looks like itll be a good time, I dont really see the set up for Clark taking much time, hell if this is Nolan esque that interrogartion scene with Lois Lane probably happens at the 45 min mark:yeshrug:

This and Star Trek are gonna make for a hot summer
