Working from home the last 5 years and it’s been a blessing

I actually work from my mom house so i wake up everyday go to her crib and work in a extra room in the house and im able to get things done for her since she’s older now
I've been WFH for around 16 total now between two companies. Ready for a new job though so may have to settle for going back into the office if the money is right.

At least u get 2 teleworking days....be appreciative

Ever since yalls boy got into office last year...we gotta come in every day

Before that I used to have 2 days teleworking...and I miss that. It was the perfect hybrid mix and realistic with the times.
Im a disabled veteran :mjpls: For a lot of us we have no choice but work remote bro lol

RTO didn't stick. Now this company is paying workers to come in — and said office attendance has increased 57%.

Superhuman started offering incentives to increase office attendance after its RTO mandate stalled.

The company scales perks based on days in-office, offering up to $2,000 quarterly wellness stipends.

Superhuman said it's boosted daily attendance by 57% since January by making it easier to work IRL.

Spend more time in the office, and you get more perks, including commuter benefits and wellness stipends, which can be put toward things like childcare expenses, gym memberships, grocery delivery, and cleaning services. Those in the US who opt to work two days per week in the office get $500 per quarter in wellness stipends, and those who work five days a week get up to $2,000 quarterly.

Im about to join y'all 100% remote brehs in 2 weeks... :blessed:

fukk a commute
fukk a face to face cause I do mad shyt remotely from work anyway

Made the right connection, called on it and I took care of the rest :salute:

Had to quote myself... still an absolute blessing to WFH, too bad the employer on some complete BS

took away a large chunk of PTO causing less work/life balance
got numbers to meet causing less care of work quality and more about work quantity
no guidance and follow through when things change like the shyt listed above, doing shyt for the sake of doing it
questions left unanswered cause my lead is overworked

still WFH FTW, but i'm open to 100% on-site if the price and work/life balance is right

I’m so underpaid. The jobs I’m going for are paying 25 to 60% more than I’m making. I’m trying to hold out for remote, but there’s not that many remote gigs available.

Off topic: My boss mentioned in our 1:1 that he’s going to send my coworker to help open the new San Fran office later this month. He says he might send me too. I don’t want to go.

How do I avoid going? I don’t know when the opening date is yet.

They flew me out to the old office last year. It’s a 6 hour flight. The office manager let me in remotely on the first day. It’s like 5 people show up 2 days a week. They should just get a WeWork.

Part of the reason I went last time was because I know I girl out there. But she’s moving back to NY soon and I been putting in work in her DMs.
