I work more salaried than I did hourly
I take more pride in my work than I did when I was hourly because that was busy work
Working from home allows me to spend more time with the people I love and doing the things I love. If you love work, by all means keep telling the corporate overlords how you want them to tell you what to do with your time

Boomers just stretched their work out because they type slow and schmooze for 3 hrs a day. Gen X and Millenials work faster with the same or better quality.
The time spent commuting in trafic or kicking the shyt and the watercooler is now spent playing PS5.

Used to be against this, but I am slowly understanding it and adopting it at the same time. I look at working on a business as the same as dating with a woman (and not her friends, so collegues.). I want to see her, face to face, touch her, smell her, all of that. I dont want to text or facetime (wfh).

It was a good run, before Covid I was going in once a month, new Regime not fukking with it.CEO just announced today that all remote workers who live within a certain distance of the office will be converted to hybrid workers.

I got hired during covid and never been to my office or met any coworker in person
No one even knows what I look like
My role was listed with the expectation i'd eventually be in office but i'm going finesse this as long as possible. It's a shame but I'm lowkey hoping it's another spike so this shyt can extend into 2021 at least. fukk around and never go to work until spring 2021

I actually work at a different place now, from home, I still haven't been to an office since 2020
Though at this job we have mandatory zoom meetings so people know what I look like and I have met two coworkers when I was in their respective cities
Only thing that’s changed is management is making us turn on our camera for virtual meetings now so that we call can be seen. I can’t be in the babershop or at the gym taking my calls now 
My job did that too. Also let it be known that those working in office will have preferential treatment when it comes to promotions and other opportunities.
