How you bored….at home? Lol
When I did it, they monitored you like crazy. If you weren’t on a call (I was working at a call center at the time) management would call you after like 2-3 min of aftercall time. It was one of the most boring work experiences ever.

That's cuz call center employees have no leverage it's a bottom of the rung job so they'll unfortunately treat people like shyt. You're replaceable there

I literally just open notepad.. sit something heavy on the space bar. Turn the volume up so I can listen for emails or Microsoft teams alerts..

I work in healthcare so in a 8 hour day I realistically only have to work about 4.

Outside of google maps I do NOTHING non work related on that computer

I'm a manager at my job and we have a program that if we suspect people on our team are doing some of the things yall talking about, we can get a quick view of their computer activity hr by hr.

I've already fired 3 people since we been working from home. The juelzing when I show them their activity captured is hilarious
Work in HR and an employee got fired after they had IT pull logs of when she logged into the work network. She had start time of 6:30am and was regularly logging in at 10 or 11:30.

That's crazy. I seen situations like that but not that outrageous!

So are y'all not working at all ever and receiving full checks to sit at home and play games and watch TV? Or is it just a sometimey thing?

I'd say I do 5 to 10 hours of legit work a week, the rest I am in the gym, playing xbox, going to the movies, running my business, or having lunch with friends...

I am in a senior sys engineer position...buy I do all my work legit work on Monday and check emails throughout the week....

I have two laptops, one that is constantly on to appear active at home while on teams and then I take a second laptop with me just in case I need to respond ASAP....
