we've known that already. Managers are getting paid to essentially babysit adults. If everyone is at home and still/more productive, higher ups will realize that a lot of middle managers aren't truly needed.

I’m still 5 days at home and only pop in for shyt like a new computer or using the office as a pit stop if I’m headed to go do something else. I go in for internal meetings with folks I’m cool with but never do actual work in the office.

The "task manager/overlord" type of management is demonstratively being shown as pointless/wasteful employment and overall detrimental to workplace culture... they need workers to validate why they have a job.
