As expected, things don't go Nene's way. On one hand, Kako has a point in the fact that changing the past and the present is a significant power. If it falls in the wrong hands, they could use it to their own benefit. Though what happens to what, I assume, is Kako as his time as a human is an example of how this power and misfortune can affect the good people. He wanted to help his nice who seemed like Mirai. Of course, she was plenty happy with him. Sometimes, for good people, the greed in helping others is something we are unaware of. Kako erasing his niece's existence is a tragic event through this. It makes sense given this encounter that he wanted to seal this power.

Well, Nene is finally by herself for the first time and unlike with Mei, there is no way Kako will help her. After all in that arc you had Tsukasa interfering. I am not sure if the cat which could be Hanako or Tsukasa can interfere at this moment.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword - Chapter 51:
So it is finally revealed that the Wind Faction was the one compromised by Gothia considering what happened to Emma. The fascinating bit that Colette's earth magic can bypass the mage killers since the magic affects the world, which is not a magical attack. Also, great to see Wignall now using healing magic. Though not surprising that Will & Lihanna are back.

The plan to protect Rurihiko sets off. Though against Prima given what happens to Shade, her power seems to affect memory, so creating amnesia for someone like Shade. Now what are Shade and Tanpopo going to do now? Also, Peony most likely will have to deal with Prima's partner.

Honestly figured Yukiya would have lost, but more than likely confession is next. I do like the symbolism of Miku & Yukiya being so insynced with each other which leads to the handoff being done perfectly.

There is something unique and fun about Arisu & Rikka's interactions.

On one hand, I am happy that Rikka got upset for Hizumi talking down on Vtubers & helping out Iko. Of course, how she did it was wrong. Still, I liked how Arisu backup Rikka in the sense that romance and love can be a driving force in terms of motivation. Which might be what Rikka might have needed. Of course, Hizumi more than likely has fair criticism as well. So the key will be for Rikka to achieve an equal balance after working with Hizumi is important for her future.

Got to love how we went from Arisu chasing after Rikka to figuring out what she was hiding. Then Rikka chasing after him since she wanted to be with him more because helping her smooth things out with Hizumi means a lot. Plus we have an idea what her feelings are for Arisu.

Interesting the act that Lady Mitsukai. Though the fact the humans in the village were cursed and are no longer be is concerning. Curious what will happen next.

For the Tower of God heads, the hiatus isn't over, but it's getting a spin-off series. We're getting a Urek Mazino side story this week, aka one of the best characters in the series.

The clear connection between Yuri and Yor's real bosses is very interesting. It is a matter of when and not if they find out their true identity. Though I do suspect Yor learning about it before Yuri does.

qJJ0i8e.png

New mission for Yor where we see two new Garden members. Hemlock us quite ruthless and Gympie is much more mysterious. Curious who Thistle is that he mentions.

Ok, so this has turned into a nightmare scenario. The sister defending Bakugami puts Gokuraku in such a fukked position. We all know Bakugami is evil at this point. However, it was Richia brought Bakugami to the kingdom. Bakugami can just frame it that everything is her fault.

JmZOPuA.png

6faxmhx.png

Now Bakugami has influenced Gokuraku to insanity. This fight just hit a big difficulty spike. Now how does Ichi and Desscaras deal with it will be interesting.

The combination of antagonist to mentor is a fascinating combination with where they took Issho's character. Akane still wants to prove her Rakugo to him, but he is pushing her to that point. Very much so he would love to be proven wrong.

vovHs4z.png

Shiguma was the loving father to Akane. Meanwhile, Issho is closer to a distant uncle who wants Akane to earn the respect.

We have only been getting 1 butterfly at a time so it brings a nice change of pace. Plus, I feel there isn't too much that could be done with 5th grade Nico at this point. Now this is where we are getting back to more romance regarding Nico & Moi's relationship.

ojWoaZN.png

SyyLxfl.png

Though for Nico, this is still before the start of the series. Where she is all in love with Moi. So I am looking forward to their interactions. Meanwhile, for Moi how does he handle it? Now the elephant in the room is Ban. I wonder what Kenta does with her going forward. Though I am curious about her role when Nico gets back to her actual age and the plot moves forward again.

Finally reading Grand Blue my god the comedy has me rolling already :russ: :deadrose:

Loved the end of the conversation between Iori & Nanaka. The idea of how you want others to get absorbed into the hobbies that you love. Also, the point of what do you want to do not if you can or can not.

Tbh Keurtz being part of Goliath would have been a much bigger concern if it were true. Berenthal being the one that gives the broaches seems logical given that we know Goliath has tracked everyone in the tower. Well, given the tower is going down, stuff will be escalating even more so. Though none of the Magia Vander being there does question why they already pulled the trigger.

Gokurakugai - Chapter 26: Pretty sweet chapter at the end. Nei might have lost her family, but in comes a new one that treasures her. Though like with Tao she will go against family. Since I am pretty sure Shizuka is her brother in some fashion. More than likely related to the father.

More and more it's quite insane how tactical and sharp Yayoi is post losing her mother. The old lady was attracting the Shinigami, so Yayoi thought making it so that the Shinigami would eat others. As that happens when one is weakened. Though given the more it ate the less willing it would be satisfied. Thus that original Shinigami that Yayoi had now has eaten them all. Curious what exactly is it now given that?

Reading Through Volume 3 of Grand Blue. Aina brings a fun dynamic as both a straight man plus normal friend to Chisa. Comedy timing continues to be great :pachaha:

Hikaru at the end :whew:

The start of the volume where we see everyone's eyes on Inori is interesting. It truly shows where Inori is now and no one is gonna to be sleeping on her. Though the speculation of whether she can do a quad was put to rest very fast. It's actually neat how that affects the other skaters. With Momoko we see that pushes her to excel at her own program. While for Moé she wanted to match Inori's quad and couldn't. It just shows that Inori is a major player right now.

The bit of focus on Suzu was neat because on the surface she can seem a bit self-centered. But that is precisely what makes Suzu special because her motivation for skating is simply to be cute and be on the stage with 1st place. Her coach understands that her confidence is where it all starts for her. People putting expectations on you can weigh yourself down at times, which was something Inori at times struggled with. He wants to hold the weight of the burden and wants Suzu to skate to her heart's content. Also, the other thing is her personality because the way she skates is full of personality as Kouichi quickly points out. The triple axel she pulls out really set the tone for the other skaters.

One thing I love with this manga is how Inori & Tsukasa's relationship has evolved. Inori not only has been learning, but also has grown confidence. In responding with that Tsukasa has been putting more faith in Inori's corner then she can handle it. Of course, he is prepared if things don't go ideally. Inori watching Hikaru's performance is one such example. She has a point that she intends to make Hikaru her longtime rival. So she might as well start watching her performance. Though ultimately, he wants to minimize the burden on Inori, which is fair given he is her coach. Though one point is who is going to share some of the burden that Tsukasa is holding? Kouichi and his family has tried to do so, but Tsukasa can still be stubborn when it comes to himself. Although Tsukasa's conversation with Hikaru was interesting in one aspect and that is sacrifice is important. As that is a key thing that Jun has preached to Hikaru. Meanwhile, Tsukasa wants to do the opposite. It makes me curious if Tsukasa can prove that Inori can be a gold medalist without needing to overly sacrifice. It is actually concerning how much burden and discipline Jun has put on Hikaru. There appears to be a lot on their relationship we haven't even touched.

8wYXvsS.jpeg

9AWkc9X.jpeg

As we learn that Hikaru is using Leonid Sorokin's chorography who is also the one that helped Jun. Though the curious thing with Hikaru & Jun is that Hikaru seems to be not just learning everything Jun is giving her, but consuming it. Taking what it is considered Jun's song and taking it and making her own is quite the statement. As it has been stated what is Jun's reputation on the ice. You also add how much power is in Hikaru's performance. Suzu outlined a fantastic program starting with a triple axel with a slight error. But after everything Hikaru does she end with not just a triple axel, but a triple axel euler triple Salchow. Though you do have to respect Inori for still wanting to match up to that and willing to change her program up. But is that viable? Also, you have Miku up next, which you get a feeling she will surprise some people.

Worse then Berserk? I ain't read that yet. But heard stories on the world building :bryan:
That's actually a good question. Berserk is more demonic and more "frustrating" because you know the source of it all and why everything went to shyt. Also, you basically follow the MC getting emotionally tortured time and time again.

The Abyss, on the other hand, has little children having to deal with all the fukked up shyt that happens down there. It's more about the world around them being fukked up and sad as shyt, it's a little less sadistic than Berserk but man, having those kids being the ones witnessing and living all of that makes me feel some type of way :mjcry: :mjcry:

Reading through Grand Blue Volume 4. In between the batshyt comedy. Aina finding her place among the group at the end was wholesome af. :mjcry: Really shows more and more how toxic her old club was and general how a bad first impression can elave on you.

Magical Girls with Narco Wars basically Drug Wars is definitely different. 2 chapters in it has potential since it feels more like a Narco Wars manga rather than a Mahou Shoujo manga.

Much of the series we have seen how much Iori, Kouhei and the guys fukk each other. You get the sense they are true bros. Kouhei has been characterized as a major otaku, which has been one of his charm. We had the guy constantly ragging him for it. Though I loved the moment that Iori defended him against the girls because the difference is they said he should change. It is actually that behavior that makes him who he is. Very much he is an inspiration to Iori because he loves something to no end. Which Iori is figuring out for the first time. It follows along with Iori's conversation with Aina and the being accepted for who you are not who you should be. The dudes rejecting the girls really speaks to their friendship despite their fooling around.

One big thing from here is that this the first time Rintarou is working outside his families shop. Very much so anxiety of that will kick in because it is a new environment. Yes, his dad and mom weren't easy on him, but the comfort of knowing you are family is still there. Lucas is a great guy, but much like his father, he takes making cakes serious. When he says the whole staff needs to approve of you is his signal to Rintarou he needs to bring his A game.

Back to back arcs we have Kaoruko being the anchor for both Subaru and Rintarou. They have been that for her, and now she is stepping up in that role. It's great to see and hope Rintarou does well with his internship.
