But everybody been doing it. No one complained until it was Storch vs Mannie. And Mannie knew what he was getting into. He accepted the battle. Swizz don’t even list this battle when running down the battles. Rza and Premo took a shot at them as well. nikkas wasn’t feelin that.

Scott had the soundtrack to Urban radio from 2000 to 2007. They grew up on his shyt

You can't have a "Hits" battle when it's that lopsided. It's just dumb and takes away from both their appeal and catalog

Excuses are being made cause number 1. He’s a white boy. And number 2. For whatever reason a lot of south cats are in they feelings cause they was rooting for him. Turning this shyt into something that it’s not. Swizz is even getting aggravated with it. nikkas tryna make this a South vs East n all kinda shyt and Swizz keep shutting that shyt down. Mannie is a more skilled producer. But he lost this battle. It is what it is.

No one complained because BOTH producers in the other battles were playing co-productions and/or songs they contributed programming or other musical expertise to. It's not even a complaint because some people knew this before the battle. My first post in the Mannie vs. Storch thread was that Storch was going to have to dip into co-productions to counter the Juve song.

Preparing a playlist for something like this isn't the wisest either, because spontaneity can kill the entire playlist. If you have a playlist and the other guy is throwing records out there while you're exhausting your best songs, it defeats the purpose of a playlist.

so yea, those issues are still there. not so much with this fresh/storch battle tho. it was moreso cultural classics vs crossover classics, and with a social media audience, its gonna lean to the crossover. dudes need to stop wasting these battles on Instagram.
