I think fresh played the better songs but he sounded salty about everything in that breakfast club interview. He even sounded salty about why he’s not producing more tracks.

There is someone in this very thread that is.

Well not me

But mannies work on those last 3 UNLV albums was amazing and his best work. Most people here have no idea who UNLV was outside of 1 diss song to mystikal.

I agree 110 percent. It was unfair for Scot to play those records cause he made those by way of collaboration, mostly only playing the piano on most of those records. He didn't produce them but just played the piano on them.

Man if you have to have every fukking CMR album to appreciate Mannie than its a wrap. If you can’t hear a beat and directly recognize it you lose the round and eventually lose the beat battle.

I respect mannie as a producer and respect his lane but going up against Storch was way over his head. You can call it cheating but in the end they shouldn’t have been competing if that’s the case.

the south took a huge loss here and it shows that most of the music they released for the last 20 years is quickly digested

Mannie was DOA either way pretty much based off who he’s worked with vs who Scott worked with. Mannie ain’t beating no Beyoncé songs with them Cash Money records or Top Back. Mannie won IMO, but I’m a south dude who appreciates Mannie Beats. A lot of them industry people that were in the chat wasn’t even messing with down south shyt like that back then even though they can lie now and act like they did. That was just a horrible matchup man. Shoulda let Mannie go against another down south producer.

Folks keep throwing this out there as an excuse but fail to list the records in question. Take away his super pop stuff, roots stuff, and co productions like still dre and just sticking to hip hop and rnb here is a list of some of Scott Storch "solo" productions he did top to bottom. He still beats Mannie.

If Rick Rock was in a battle and he started playing the beat to "Ambitionz Az A Ridah",
that would CRUSH almost anything else the other person would play - but a lot of folk
would stand up like "W-w-wait, I thought Daz made that beat!!" That's the problem with this chit here.

:whoo:

Hold the fuuuuuck up.

:ohhh:

Where did you read anywhere that Rick Rock Co Produced Ambitionz Az A Ridah? I never hear that before. Please post a clip or link to confirm that please.

I think that was hypothetical.

I believe I read this in the All Eyez On Me write-up in XXL,
So I don't know how 100 it is, because I remember being surprised by that myself.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Now do you see?

This is what you naturally think when somebody else is a "co-producer".
I mean it is what it is. If he helped. He should be able to claim it. It's only right. Im not with big names being able to claim sole credit even tho they got help and the people who helped them not be able to claim shyt.
