Skill wise. They are about around even. Both dope ass DJ’s. Both very skilled at flipping samples. And both got banging drums. Just Blaze will win in this setting because he has a more versatile set list. He has BIG records with a lot of artists. And street bangers as well just like Mannie. I think he would drown Mannie out eventually. Mannie would have a better chance in a pure beat battle from scratch. It’s not about region. Me being a DJ I’m just being logical about the setting and the crowd. shyt. Even in this thread. I said Mannie is a more skilled producer than Scott Storch. And if the battle was about beats from scratch he would wash Storch. But that’s not what this shyt is about. This shyt is basically a party celebrating the hits. Which is why I’m laughing at people getting all mad and taking this shyt so serious. shyt is more of an education and celebration than an actual battle. The FANS win because they get to hear some shyt they ain’t heard in a minute and people or youngins who didn’t know some of these producers artists catalog or what they were involved with can get an education. And the people involved win because they can get placements they haven’t gotten in a while because people either forgot about or haven’t heard from them in a minute. But people wanna be crabs and make it something it isnt. This will be my last post about this wack ass “battle” tho.

These battles are there to celebrate the producer/artist while everyone inside and bored. that’s what are and it’s being explain as such, literally everybody besides sean Garrett and dream who have beef has shown love to each other threw out. maybe manny didn’t respect Scott, but he shouldn’t have taken the battle then.


the producer know this gonna bring them more money win or lose, it bring they stream numbers up, and it puts younger artists in they music so they will start coming for more production

he was an in-house guy like mannie fresh, except mannie carried the label while just blaze was just one of a number of in-house producers on the roc.
plus just blaze was allowed to go out and produce for others, and still has less hits than mannie fresh.

like I said in the other thread, KLC is better than just blaze and he got dropped by mannie. granted that was with a live audience(how it should be) and they ball in the same conference. but still.

which renders your list to just a few songs, with only one of them being a hit that would ring bells, and that song aged like spoiled milk.

It ain’t about no damn South vs. Cash Money ain’t beating no versatile playlist by themselves unless the cards are played right. Not to mention. Mannie’s shyt kinda blends into eachother. Mix that with the same like 3 or 4 artists the whole time. It ain’t winning no public battle with a versatile producers unless they drop the ball. Premo almost beat himself by playing some of the wrong records against some of RZA’s shyt. They both killed it tho and no one is even looking at the battle like a battle and more like a celebration of 2 legends with classics. Which is how it should be. They both did they thing.
