lol. If you think mannie fresh is relevant in 2020 then your the one not in tune with hip hop. Storch is at least still working with new artist and actually has recent hits. You probably still rockin ecko, karl kani, and miskeen shirts.

i guarantee that im flyer than you.
prolly look way younger than you
and I could easily walk off with your broad, if you ever even had one.

youre not even a real person.
@Jigganaut just asked you like 20 times where youre from. and you still ducking.

a lot of you dudes mane, I remember when people like yall hated hip-hop and were off listening to house & techno. now yall the main ones giving opinions on chit that aint even supposed to be for yall.

TBF me myself and I is a record that no straight man should ever play without a woman’s request. I don’t give a damn how bad that bytch did you, a nikka should never be in a my myself and I mood.

That’s whack, I like that song since I was a kid could give a fukk about what a next nikka feel I listen to Rnb just as much as hip hop.

Sound sound sound
Neptune’s don’t have many fully produced albums because nobody can afford them lol

clipse first 3 albums are excellent production wise (not counting that audio exclusive footage shyt)

Hell even Kelis and Philly most wanted albums were produced way above average ..but they were terrible rappers and Kelis was never Really good

I mean, the O.G. destinys child stuff with latoya & latavia still goes, but their later/bigger stuff general has little appeal to the fellas. the same goes for beyonce's solo career.

it parallels diana ross. you'll see an oldhead bumpin some early supremes. but you'll never see dudes playing diana ross solos. then add her later smashes which became gay community anthems.

youre doing Minnie & Aretha a disservice in this post, brohski.

Huh?

Aretha has female empowerment anthems (Respect, Natural Woman) and is big in the gay community same as Diana and Bey

For the most part tho they sing about love, heart break, cheating nikkas etc same as most female artist including Minnie

Not sure why you are drawing the line

And your doing Diana Ross and the like a disservice by dismissing her music when she has classics like Endless Love and Love Hangover. Songs i know plenty of straight men enjoy. Younger generations have Beys Speechless, Myself and I, Be with You, etc

Good production and good vocals are appealing ....Good music is good music

I've lived in the south and east coast. That's why I appreciate both regions.

I had to force you to respond to finally respond to dude.

and you still give the most vague answer possible.

some of you dudes is bots.

Mannie took his L in peace and you should too.

I didn't watch.

it has nothing to do with them.

im just calling out your vulture posts.

Neptunes are derivative as fukk. They are R&B guys moonlighting in rap same as Timbaland. Not even top 20.

yep.

they don't want to hear this tho.

I’m not blurring the lines. Because I didn’t know that there was some criteria. My top 5 hip hop producers aren’t the same as my top 5 super producers either. But I could see someone putting Neptune’s or Timbo in there because they do have some shyt.

based on what???

out of the past 40-plus years, youre saying that they have a strong argument for ALL-TIME top 5??

you can say that theyre top 5 hitmakers. that about it.

Son. U know from my post history I DONT fukk with MOST Beyonce music. But I always respected her first solo. That’s about it. And would u not listen to this song because she’s speaking about getting fukked?

I never knew that you even liked beyonce.

I just thought it was funny that you pulled that song out as some sort of closer.

its cool, we all got a few :gurl: songs in the stash.

it was just funny how you pulled that track out the hat and started riding for it tho.
but nothing serious. just fun.

Roddy Rich just dropped last year. The down below is his most watched video to date and is currenlty at 120 Million views. He also produced the recent hit undecided by chris brown. And yes.. Storch is the sole producer and did the whole track.

And your saying storch aint relevant? lol. Quarantine got yall losing your minds. Storch went light on Mannie.

lol.

I remember that weak ass song that butchered the Shanice sample.

chit like that is why I stay away from the radio.
but its your heyday and you think riding for this chit makes you hip. ENJOY.

its not about content.

like I said earlier, its about the vibes. that was my main point, but yet you didn't seem to pick up on it at all.

what type of straight men do you hang around??

That's a Scott Storch beat to me:manny:

Scott isn't even the only one on the keys on that songs. And people think that beat is just drums and keys, but the strings on that song are just as vital and the background keyboards.

Scott Storch is given way too much credit for "Still Dre". He's an integral part of why its dope, but Dre, Mel Man, Camara Kambon (also played keys on the song, but people never mention him) all made that beat happen.

I didn't like Player's Only. I enjoy Me, Myself and I. If you can't nod your head to that beat, idk what to say. That's a top Beyonce song and he produced the track.

Them this should have been a Scott Storch vs Jermaine Dupri

everything at a premo record fam

playas only worked for what it was it isnt trash its jsut ok

Not even sure what you were trying to say here, but y'all been to be honest about a lot of Scott Storch's songs and production -- he mostly made Now That's What I Call Music Vol 37 tracks, where they were good for the moment but you've never played them since they originally came out. Mannie made transcending bangers that were ahead of their time and still have replay value today. Out of this set-list Mannie and Scott played, you're not still playing more 2-3 today, and people are lying like crazy if they say otherwise.

And as far as "Cry me A River", I'm very very 95% of people watching last night were hearing Scott Storch had anything to do with that beat for the first time. It's ALWAYS been "produced by Timbaland". That's why thinking Storch won is a sham, cause you don't he know what HE actually produced himself. Low-key, Scott Storch possibly should've faced Diddy instead of Mannie or even Jermaine Dupri like I mentioned.

And that's fair. I said already that Fresh needed to go against a contemporary of his.

if I didn't expose anything, then why did you try to side-step? and youre still ducking what I asked you, but youre telling on yourself and don't even realize it.

lol @ mannie fresh having no "slaps" on the east coast besides "back that thang up".
they had a huge movement on the east coast.
so again, where are you really from?? and if youre from the east coast, were you cognizant or did you just stay in the house??
or were you one of those suburban Eminem & rawkus-loving rap fans?

2002-2006 aren't mannie fresh's prime years, so I don't know why youre singling those years out.
but even in those years, he still had plenty of popular cuts on the east coast, including "Go DJ", the song the saved lil wayne. but yet, youre downplaying that song.

so basically, scott storch didn't produce anything major for jadakiss & G-Unit. thanks for proving my point.
I never said anything about fat joe. stop trying to move the goal-post.
like I said, storch has 5-10 big bangers. everything else that was big for him is either r&b or corny radio chit.
thats not what your original post said at all you said mannie was bigger on east coast than scott which is a joke since scott produced some of NYCs biggest hits in that era

no east coast poster is going to come in here and say mannie freshs music was bigger on east coast than poppin them thangs times up lean back candy shop ect lol and that was shown in the battle last night as relevance to NYC

its cool you like mannie bro im a fan too but that doesnt change the fact scott produced plenty huge east coast records as well as tons of other quality work from there

This is also not true. Cause while they did SWV. Next year over they did “Lookin At Me” for Mase. Then after that Superthug for NORE. Then after that the whole fukkin ODB album. Mystikal “Shake Ya Ass” and “Danger”. And a lot more where that came from. And this is all BEFORE Clipse.
he doesnt really have an accurate knowledge of the past it seems lol
