Oh.
My.
God.
Dude. Sanders is a new candidate, who isn't covered by local newspapers, is dismissed by national media, and is completely funded by his small donor base. Since day 1, Sanders has been playing catch up in the polls. Sanders SHOULD NOT be doing better percentage wise because Sanders does not get coverage/hasn't been on the election trails as long as Clinton.

He needed to tie her in Iowa in order to show the nation he was the real deal. The Clinton campaign pivoted and said that Iowa doesn't determine the president.
He needed to win in New Hampshire. The Clinton campaign pivoted and said that New Hampshire is close to vermont and there are nothing but white folks voting.
He didn't start campaigning heavy in Nevada and South Carolina until he was able to get the funds and the momentum from Iowa and New Hampshire.

Where and how should Sanders be doing better percentage wise? Go do the googles ya self. Narrow the search from January 2015 to December 2015, enter a specific state + democratic + poll and find me the results that have Sanders on top. He came into the game an under dog. He wasn't the number one choice of progressives. The Democratic establishment doesn't support him. The unions have been forcing their members to attend Clinton rallies. He's not getting any major sponsorships.

This tactic of minimizing his accomplishments to date reeks of Clinton back peddling. Every win isn't big enough, and every loss is the back breaking critical hit.

I'm tired of having to defend this old ass nikka like he's my favorite person in the world.
:obama: gotta break it down them

Can one of you more politically savvy brehs explain something to me. What is the point of primaries ?...like I know it's for the party nomination but why spend millions of dollars to see if you can represent republicans or democrats when you can just be on your own. Like say I was Carson and was like fck the republicans ain't going for me but I still want to be on the percentile ballot, Why not just go out on my own and fukk all this . I know there is some rule or something in place but educate me why.
The 2 Parties are all that our shytty media will cover and what the majority of the under-informed masses will ever support. So if you are not a part of the 2 Party System you are basically at a disadvantage in terms of media coverage and how seriously you will be taken by the very people whose votes you will need.
It would take someone, and its fukked up to admit, like a Donald Trump to run as an Independent and still actually have a shot at being taken seriously as a legitimate contender for the presidency.

He said he is staying in it until the convention and I don't see him dropping out. If anything, I think he believes that every state deserves to hear his message. I could care less because I'm not voting for either of the major parties, but I think that's what he's going to stick with.
Staying in till the convention would be bad for the Dems as a party and I don't see them sitting back and allowing it. The pressure will be put on Bernie just like it was put on Hillary in 08 and he will concede before the primaries are all over and way before the convention.

Clinton dropped out on June 7 and the primary that year didn't end till the end of June. She didn't go all the way to the convention or even the end of the primary season.
And I would think the Party would want Bernie to drop out even earlier than Clinton did since the convention this year is happening in July.

Bernie doesn't even like the Dem Party. Hence why he was only a member until now.

Same with Trump and the Reps

Why would Sanders listen to them?
