the lack of arenas in battle mode does hurt in my eyes tho
especially with their online NOW. could have been special but hopefully there will be some craziness on the tracks...but I still want arenas

havent used the gamepad in a game since i got it. only use the pad in the obvious places because nintendo forces it on you

I think one of the things that annoyed me was holding that shyt for an extended amount of time
yeah, i basically use the gamepad as a second screen/map while I control the main action with the pro.
I even used the pro during off-tv play when I was playing DKC: tropical freeze while a NBA playoff game was going
im really hoping they'll give legit reason to use it at the e3 direct. which is a goal they have been very vocal about. I think the games that will make good use of it, well at least have the potential to, are X, Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei and Zelda U.
but hopefully it isnt FORCED usage.
