$125. Courthouse wedding. Red lobster afterwards. Been married going on ten years now.

The way I see it. I'll spend big on the ring.

But a wedding naw unless she paying for it i'll pass. We just going to go on mad trip overseas, cruise boats and buy nice shyt for each other that the honeymoon.

She can get the big wedding after 7 years, at that point I know she mine for life so i be willing to spend 20k on big wedding.

I did $20k on a destination wedding in Jamaica so honeymoon was built in. Had a a great it was like being on vaca with friends.

Got most of it back in gift money too. My wife is Greek so they came thru with $$$. My black peoples not so much

Parents paid for our honeymoon cruise

With the monetary gifts we received, used it to make a down payment on another property

Take the extra money and invest it, or put it on a down payment on a house

Between the dress, suit and marriage license at the courthouse, about $300. We had a nice reception at my in-law's house and went on a month long honeymoon.

Our venue is less than $2,500.
Open bar night be like $1,500.
Photo booth is $400.

We just need to see the food costs. We doing small plates of appetizers. fukk the rest.

Don't wanna spend more than $3,500 each. That's perfect and within our budget. We already have half saved up in our joint account. It'll take like 2 months to stack the rest (we are using our personal savings)

Her pops wanted us to get married before our daughter was born so he paid 5 Gs for it. I just paid for the rings before the wedding, but for the actually wedding itself $100 for my suit.

Applied for a license, picked it up when it was ready three days later, got married in front of the justice of the peace. Never did an actual ceremony.

That's what I plan on doing.
