because the Eternals revealed thanos knew about the celestials and he was cutting down the population to stop planets from being destroyed

Thanos will be back at some point, they’ve admitted as much that he’s not dead and just “willed” away like he did half the population (who also all ended up returning)
he will be brought back and starfox will be part of that…. Thanos is a celestial and knew their plan, eliminating half the population was his fukked up way of trying to save those planets
there’s plenty of videos on YouTube stating this same theory…. People loved josh brolin in that role, why wouldn’t they bring him back?

They didn't but their are some compelling theories out there.
When Thanos' was explaining to Dr. Strange what he was doing he said Titan was facing Extinction. Now a lack of resources is bad and many will die but 'extinction' means everyone would die. Not exactly fitting with the scenario of a lack or resources. It is however fitting for a Celestial being born and destroying the planet.

the Eternals said the reason the event didn’t happen sooner was because Thanos erased half the population
