Marvel's The Inhumans coming to ABC Fall 2017 (Starts Sept 29th)

Yeah, I'd say take it a step further and completely reboot the entire celestial/eternal/deviant concept so there's no Kree involved if you want a true rival to the xmen.

Just have them descend from the deviants and call it a day, get rid of the whole royal concept and boring character designs. And got dayum get rid of Medusa she such a worthless, try hard feminist character concept.

There is so much they could do, but the truth is they simply don't have good writers.
Most writers are talentless cacs that got their job through nepitism.

They aren't creative enough to redesign characters. Thats why they are gifted established properties.

I'd redesign medusa to make her hair more alien-like and sinister in nature. Have the hair always moving and have the actress remain perfectly still most times except to speak, almost implying the hair is using the body as a parasyte host. I'd draw up an instances early on where her hair and her leg are caught in a hatch during an escape chase sceene and both her arms immediately try and free her hair while the hatch is crushing down on her leg, for example.

Problem is, when the writing room is filled with the nephews of whoever works upstairs you just end up with uninovative garbage like always.

Just the mere existence of certain characters requires a bunch of CGI and prosthetics and that's even before you get into the fact that the entire city is supposed to be made up of mutant looking people who are ALL supposed to look different from one another.

HBO would have a hard time making that show look good, so of course ABC's version is going to look like trash. A movie would have given the effects studios time to make sure shyt was perfect and they could improve on everything from movie to movie......but nah, Perlmutter and Loeb had to fukk shyt up.

I don't watch Agents of Shield (its a racist show, can't be bothered)
but I heard that they have been setting up the Inhumans on that show for awhile... but Imax seems half-assed invested in the Inhumans. So to your point, the premiere is gonna be a 2-hour movie at the theatres.

They seem to know it shouldn't be on TV per se... but isnt priorrity enough for a feature release, so they are skirting the line.
Game of Thrones did this with a 2-hour cut of the battle at castle black released in theatres, and even that didn't do crazy numbers... so idk.

Yeah and it's ridiculously foolish to not even attempt to make the inhumans, as a concept, something that comics fans even want in the first place. The only thing cool about inhumans is the name.

They did a great job modernizing Karnak...hes like that city character from the authority...kinda. I wanna see characters with larger than life abilities, not xmen rejects.

That's what they should be doing, not trying to give us some budget bullshyt by the same guy that fukked up an easy as fukk win as iron fist.
