Depending on the software it can take a large team to write code, check the code, and go through the process.
Repairing computers is usually done by more than one person, so that isn't just a 1 person job, especially when you have uptime considerations.

The jobs being replaced are a small subset of the population, and now those jobs are being automated and new industries will be created to funnel in workers who can aid in running that industry.

Minimum wage advocates brought this on themselves with their demanding of high wages and insurance for low revenue generating unskilled work. I don't feel sympathy or anything for those who work on minimum wage. Like I said earlier, develop those skills and get a job in a growing sector, the writing has been on the wall that automation was coming for these jobs, if you get caught out there you have no one to blame but yourself.

No I didn't give a speech at all about pulling yourself up by your bootstrap. You are projecting, probably because you aren't used to actually being able to logically discuss and explain why you believe what you believe.
Most black americans are not living in poverty or on minimum wage, so when you in this post try to associate minimum wage workers with blacks and try to excuse it, as if its simply a fact that blacks mainly earn minimum wage, you really are just showing your own engrained black inferiority complex, and its sad.

Well you made a post acting like the fear of technology is based on present day "realities" of the market, and I was just showing you its pretty common thought when new technology emerges. A subset of people predicting the end of the world, doom and gloom, and etc.

I partially agree with your last sentence though, underneath it all in general I think most people look forward and welcome advancement in technology, because it simply betters their life, not for any utopian wishes.

Also, I work in employment. Jobs are shyt now for the most part. There are more people than jobs period. Unless a person is highly specialized in a growing field it's ugly out here. Then as black people you still must compromise your blackness to get the job if you have the qualifications. I have attorney's in my office searching for work, willing to be admin assts.
