The end of days is near... @The Taxman actually posted something I agree with :skip:

Seriously though, how brazen is this dude to blatantly undermine his employers, in the media no less

I'm a Mets' fan 4 Life...and I've always been a fan of Harvey, but it's becoming so obvious this dude is just waiting around to sign a big deal with the Yankees the second he hits Free Agency.

Trade this fakkit while his value is high.

:camby:
:laff: @ Harvey getting blown out against the Yankees in 2/3 of an inning just to stay under the limit and still make his intentions clear in 2 weeks

He'll get traded in November when the Mets get swept by the Cards. fukking bum, who's gonna give a guy that much money when he has a hard limit? Strasburg got shut down, and look what happened.

To go from De Grom/Harvey/Syndergaard to De Grom/Syndergaard/Colon :snoop:

They still have the pitching to make noise but if he ain't around in the playoffs, that hurts them especially in the short 5 game ALDS

Bomani made a helluva point on Friday's Right Time broadcast. I'll paraphrase: These innings limits are archaic. And for baseball to be so progressive with all these advanced stats, I'm surprised so many teams still adhere to it. Wouldn't it be better to track by pitch (type, speed, number of pitches)?
For example, say he gets in a 28 pitch jam and doesn't even finish an inning, would that count towards his limit? Some innings are more strenuous than others, so how can we gauge based on that?

They do have advance ways to look at it, one of the Mets beat writers was discussing it on the radio today, they basically mention innings tho to keep it simple for fans.

Can you sum it up, or link me if possible?
