If you have a group of 8 people sharing a pizza, and 1 greedy fukk takes 6 slices, that does not mean there are too many people in the group.

I see your point about the bolded....but sterilizing people who can't afford children is some bullshyt....you need to allow people to either sink or swim when it comes to that....thats the way it's always been....sterilizing won't solve any issues...

I mean in the posed theoretical it would minimize the amount of people raised in outright SHYT situations and that would have considerable positive affects in minority communities.

There is no neat solution to this. Yes current children take a L. Hopefully the next generation adapts to the environment. If a parent abandons the child take them and put them in a state run boarding school like the one in India for the untouchables. Garner both parents wages for upkeep of the school. Like child support to the government.

The issue with this is historically that L becomes everyone problem when the children grow and decide to rob/steal from/abuse/kill me or mine (or anyone really) out of spite or as a derivative of not knowing better

It's not just income, but moreso all the characteristics/that people with low income tend to have that yields a low success rate in terms of children making it to the middle class. My parents are an extreme exception to the rule, they raised me and brother on roughly 30K yearly between the two of them in San Diego. But they were highly educated therefore knew how to stretch money/save/invest. My older breh now has his own business and is 6 figs (no certs, and he's 5'11, sorry) but he graduated with no debt either/didn't take loans. I'm on the path for the same sans running a business as I don't have the make-up for it character wise.

I’m personally of the belief that people who spout eugenicist arguments should be euthanized so we can move on the work of building a better society; a better society being based around being less judgmental and more empathetic.

Being someone born in NC where the legislature had to be dragged by the knuckles to compensate women who were sterilized against their will as late as the 70s, when I was born, gives me an extreme amount of pause. They didn't take the last involuntary sterilization law off the books until 2003. Not 1903. Not 1953. Not 1983. 2003. This century.
