Maybe I'm getting old but this NBA2K draft they just had is goofy as hell

To me I have no beef with dudes caking up off of it. My problem has always been who the fukk is watching this shyt. I just never understood why someone would rather watch others play a game compared to just playing themselves.

I dont think I'm too old for it, but I think its weird considering how many bugs 2K has and games in general have in them. Bugs that make yo want to slam ur controller sometimes.

That's different from being an athlete whos in control of yourself.

Not to mention ur playing on Internet connection which at any moment could slightly lag or drop.

I wouldn't want money on the line with all these issues.

You mean like how refs can miss easy foul calls or screw up games like we've seen NUMEROUS TIMES? shyt happens out of the players control ALL the time. Ask Dez Bryant and Cowboy fans or Lebron after Kyrie/Love went down?

Nah, it's hard to cheese certain animations consistently on the high levels. The combine checked for that. Using overpowered snatch backs to whore out threes or shots was an easy way to get looked over. Those overpowered animations work in conjunction with hall of fame badges like limitless range/posterizer or cheese blow by animations.

It's nowhere near simulation. I don't actually think it's e-sports ready at all.

That’s why I hope it flops like real shyt I could have a shot if I played pro am. The way I build my SGs they’re like a jordan/kobe but I’d actually have to put points into the three pointer i prefer slash/midrange/post/defense

Why do you watch real sports instead of playing it yourself? To see people at the highest level compete because they're able to do things that you can't do. Same thing.

You think it's different but it's really not. No matter what you think, you'll NEVER be as good as Daigo in street fighter. You'll never be as good as a guy like Sonic Fox in Injustice or DBZF just like you'll never be Kobe.

You don't get to use your own character AT ALL in the pro-league. You have to choose between PRE-made generic characters that are limited from non-cheesy levels. And I guarantee you're not as good as you think you are when compared to people who play this shyt for a living.

I watch to see crazy athletic feats and shyt you can't see every day. Even for the best egamer you're still watching video game animations. Not comparable at all. The same animations that I can see playing on my own. Like I said I totally respect the skills of the people playing and would never downplay that and know at my best most would definitely smoke me. But for the most part I'm just watching a game being played.

When we watch people playing games we're looking at a screen and not them. Like I said it's just not for me. I've tried watching the games of 2K for tips on how to improve and just got bored so damn quick. I respect the talent of the people playing just personal preference wise don't understand it. Way too many entertainment options. I could be watching real people playing real basketball compared to watching people play a flawed simulation of it.
