Yeah, I was coming in here to post the on-record disses he made before the publication of that article. Him dissing the Kings guaranteed that fans from this area weren't fukking with him.

I agree for the culture he needs to just do it for his own sake
but like all threads on here people only tell half the story
people didnt abandon him for commercials, alot of artists sold out or did "chicken" commercials and shyt

"Excuses to not make Hammer seem cool" Hammer wasn't cool! We saw him as corny minstrelsy from day one. If he was nice, he may have gotte a pass, but he wasn't.
Big Daddy Kane came out rapping like no one before, he went too far left with the R and B. From one record on Long Live The Kane to almost half on Prince Of Darkness, which accelerated him losing steam. People told him not to, he did what he wanted to do, that's on him.

In that tweet, he admitted dissing them was some sucker shyt. That did ZERO for them, they were good already. Hammer got in his feelings and clout chased, and got dissed into oblivion because he couldn't dance his way out of LL and 3rd Bass (among others) frying him on wax. All his fault.
I've already said the hate for Hammer from the industry was pent-up jealousy cause some of these clowns turned out to be the same things they "called him out" for but, at the same time, he did take shots at dudes in real time so it wasn't 100% uncalled for.
