Could easily be both.
We got rid of someone last year who was nuttier than squirrel shyt, but coworkers kept on fukking with him. If you left him alone, he was silent and actually good at his job, but mfs would go out of their way to provoke him then tell on him and force him to defend himself to management which made him look even crazier than he was. He's gone. And of course the same few people that were fukking with him found someone else to fukk with. But fortunately she's an black woman who's older than all of them but newer than all of them (to this building she has more experience than all of them from so e where else) so she just remains silent, does her job, doesn't talk to them. And as far as I know they've reported her 4 times but management has found the claims "unfounded" which of course has them pissed. Of course they are white. Mrs Katherine is always on time, always in a good mood and always polite. So they find stuff to bytch about. "She eats at her desk!" "Yeah, so does everyone, there's no rules against not eating at your desk..." " Yeah but it's like a full meal, and she has like 6 different containers spread everywhere!" "Ok, there's no limit on how many containers one can bring and it's not interfering with her work..." "But I don't like it!"
